On the one hand, online entertainment has increasingly popular because of it is affordable can convenient. People can watch movies, play games and other programs in their smartphone or computer without living their home. Moreover, online entertainment allow viewers to choose their preffered content at any time. For example, people with busy schedules can enjoy movies on netflix instead of travelling to a cinema. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both sides of the discussion and state your view clearly: online services make entertainment accessible, while cinemas and theatres continue to matter, and you conclude that traditional venues remain valuable. Relevant support includes the convenience of watching Netflix at home and the employment and nearby-business benefits of venues. This covers the task well, but the two views are not developed equally: the economic points are named rather than explained, and the cultural value of theatres and cinemas could be illustrated more specifically. Your opinion is clear, though the conclusion’s claim that traditional methods bring people together would be stronger if linked more directly to the examples in the body. More explanation and precise examples would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow, and examples generally appear beside the points they support. However, some connections are mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “Moreover,” “Therefore,” and “As a result.” A few references and transitions are unclear: “they watching alone at home” interrupts the comparison, and “But” at the start of the final sentence does not smoothly connect the ideas. Improve cohesion by linking each example explicitly to its claim and using clearer references rather than relying mainly on formulaic connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “online platforms,” “employment opportunities,” “traditional performances,” and “busy schedules.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “generate income” and “create a strong bond.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “essentail,” “signifiacant,” “preffered,” and “accesible.” Some combinations are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “less essentail,” “business, restaurants and shopping centre nearby,” and “traditional entertainment method.” These choices sometimes make the reader pause, although the overall meaning remains understandable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for discussing cultural and economic effects.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “While” and a relative clause in “people with busy schedules can enjoy movies…”. However, control is inconsistent, and several sentence patterns contain errors that can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “because of it is affordable can convenient” has faulty clause construction, while “online entertainment allow viewers” and “traditional entertainment method contribute” show subject–verb agreement problems. Articles and plurals are also unreliable in “a signifiacant role” and “a movies.” The sentence ending “difficult to achieve they watching alone” is not grammatically complete. Practise building accurate clauses and checking agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
