Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear final view that the two forms “should coexist.” The online-entertainment paragraph explains convenience, cost and access for rural residents, while the opposing paragraph links venues to employment and shared cultural experiences. These are relevant points, and the Nepali-film example helps make the cultural argument concrete. However, the economic case is less fully explained: you mention staff opportunities but do not show how venues contribute more broadly to the economy. The claim that platform memberships have increased “almost thrice” is also unsupported and unclear. To strengthen the response, develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or a specific, credible example, and state your position more explicitly before the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The contrast between the two positions is easy to follow, and phrases such as “On the other hands” and “In conclusion” signal the direction of the argument. This gives the essay a coherent overall arrangement. However, some linking is mechanical, and the first body paragraph moves quickly from streaming services to cost and rural access without fully connecting these points. The second paragraph also combines employment and cultural preservation without developing the relationship between them. Use clearer topic sentences and link each supporting detail directly to its main point. Check paragraph transitions and referencing so that connections are precise rather than relying mainly on signposting phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital era,” “cultural preservation,” “collective appreciation” and “shared experiences.” These choices show some ambition and help communicate the main ideas. However, inaccurate word choice and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “fond on using,” “decline of entertainments factors,” “economy boost” and “employee opportunities” do not express the intended ideas idiomatically. There are also spelling and form errors, such as “rular” and “rearly,” and inconsistent naming of “theatres” and “theaters.” Build a more reliable range by learning common topic collocations, such as “streaming services,” “create jobs” and “preserve cultural identity,” and proofread spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex structures, including the contrast in “although online entertainment is convenient…” and the relative clause “where theatres and cinemas can… be found.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but grammatical control is uneven, and errors recur across the response. Examples include “other argue” instead of a plural verb, “members are increase,” and “it preserve culture,” where agreement or verb form is incorrect. The sentence beginning “Even though it is crucial for economically” is also incomplete or poorly formed, and the opening “n conclusion” has a missing initial letter. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms and complete clause structures. Then proofread each sentence, especially longer ones, to ensure that its grammar supports the intended meaning.
