Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some of the people say that in this era of digitalization going to theatres and cinemas are less importent because all the entertainment staff are accessable from home by watching them online by the help of internet, On the other side other group of individuals claiming that theatres and cinemas are hold its significantness by economically and culturally as like its past ways.

From my personal prespective i will go the people of secound group because i strongly belive that there is a huge difference between watching something online and individually other then enjoying and sharing them with so many people. Going outside for this kind of staff is very enjoyable and mentally refreshing to. I belive watching content online only fullfill your lonliness and craving to watch something but going out side theatres or cinemas help us to socialize with other people of different culture.

Recently i visited star cineplex to watch "Bonolota Express" a movie based on the real life story of different individuals. The movie reffers to comedy and emotional drama. In the hall all people are laughing and sharing there feelings to other people how set by next to them. Like them i also laugh and share amy feelings with by be loved wife and she also shared her feelings to me which i belive made our relation more stronger then ever. We just feel mentally and emotionally relaxed and promised to each other that once in a month we must watch movie by visiting cinema hall. And yes the movie was so nice and its house full which will indicating that our countries entertainment industry is booming now. Which will geartly contribute in our economie too. And yes is the most visualize medium to spread our culture and telant to the outer world.

I can easily conclude that watching cinemas and theatres are much more importent then watching them online. I must say you should watch online content when you just need to get quick sleep.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You discuss both perspectives and state a clear preference for the view that cinemas and theatres remain important. Your personal cinema visit gives relevant support for the social and emotional value of shared viewing, and the sold-out screening is used to suggest economic benefits. However, the first view—that online entertainment can make venues less important—is mainly paraphrased rather than explored, so the two sides are not developed equally. The economic and cultural claims are also asserted briefly, especially the point that the industry contributes to the economy and spreads local talent and culture. To strengthen the response, explain these claims with a specific mechanism or example, and acknowledge a concrete advantage of online viewing before weighing it against the benefits of venues.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining your opinion through a personal example, and a concluding statement. The cinema visit helps the reader follow the development of your main argument. However, the discussion of both views is not clearly separated, and the long third paragraph combines the film’s content, your relationship, audience reactions, economic impact, and cultural value. This makes the progression less controlled. Some links are also mechanical or unclear, such as repeated “And yes” and the final “Which will” sentence, whose reference is difficult to follow. Use separate body paragraphs for the online-viewing argument and the continuing value of venues, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digitalization,” “socialize,” “emotionally relaxed,” and “entertainment industry.” These choices show an effort to express social, cultural, and economic ideas. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “importent,” “accessable,” “significantness,” and “visualize medium” are examples. Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “all the entertainment staff” and “by economically and culturally.” This limits precision even though the general meaning is usually recoverable. Build accuracy by learning common topic collocations and checking word forms and spelling; for example, use “entertainment content,” “economically and culturally significant,” and “a powerful medium for promoting culture.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, including “I strongly believe that there is a huge difference…” and the sequence describing your cinema visit. The main ideas can generally be understood, but errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation recur. For example, “going to theatres and cinemas are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “theatres and cinemas are hold its significantness” has an incorrect verb construction and unclear agreement. The opening sentence also runs several clauses together, and capitalisation of “I” is inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses carefully; review agreement and verb forms, and use full stops to prevent run-on sentences.
