Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a personal position, particularly in saying that online viewing is convenient while cinemas still matter for family occasions. The points about saving money and time, and spending time with loved ones, are relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partial: the economic and cultural importance of theatres and cinemas is not really explained, and the second view is supported mainly by older people and family visits. Your position is also difficult to pin down in the introduction: “logically sound” and “partily agree” do not make clear which claim you support. Develop each side with a specific explanation or example, and state your opinion directly and consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To commence with” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint, so the overall arrangement is understandable. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes weak. The final point in the paragraph about theatres—“Moreover, on special occasion such as birthday, anniversary so on”—is left incomplete, and the conclusion repeats the family-time idea rather than drawing the discussion together. Some linking phrases also feel mechanical. Organise each body paragraph around one clear claim, explain it, and then give a complete example; use references such as “these venues” clearly to avoid ambiguity.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “online content,” “expensive tickets,” “quality time,” and “special occasion.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “To elaborate” and “To conclude the discussion.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make the writing less natural, including “online videoes,” “available all time,” “make less popularity,” and “collect memories.” Spelling errors such as “enterainment,” “partily,” and “togather” are noticeable. Build a more precise set of expressions for convenience, cultural value, and economic impact, and check spelling and collocations so your meaning is consistently clear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “While other says” and a concession in the conclusion. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “online content plays” does not agree with the plural subject “videoes and online content,” while “people have not need to spend” uses an incorrect verb pattern. The sentence beginning “whenever, they want” is also punctuated and structured awkwardly, and “despite the fact that … but” combines two contrasting constructions. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete sentence patterns, then proofread punctuation and clause connections.
