Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify both views: online entertainment is convenient, while theatres and cinemas may matter economically and culturally. You also give a personal preference for mobile phones and television, supported by observations that venues have closed or open rarely in your area. However, the discussion is very brief and does not explain the economic or cultural importance of venues, so the second view is mentioned rather than meaningfully discussed. Your examples about saving money, time and transport support online viewing, but need clearer explanation and development. The response also falls short of the required minimum length, which limits how fully you can address the task. Develop each side with reasons and specific examples, then state your opinion clearly in a concluding paragraph.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the two views, and later sentences focus on mobile-phone use and your own experience. Phrases such as “according to my knowledge” and “for example” signal a relationship between ideas. However, the response has no clear paragraph structure or conclusion, and the progression between points is difficult to follow. For instance, “he is very negative point” does not clearly connect the closure of local venues to the argument, while the final example is unfinished. Some linking phrases are repeated or used awkwardly. Separate the two sides into paragraphs, use clear topic sentences, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “entertainment,” “economically,” “culturally,” “films,” “dramas,” and “save money.” These words help communicate the general subject and your preference for watching at home. However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or repetitive, such as “more latest activities” and “one or two times in the years.” Spelling errors—including “amd,” “waatch,” “televison,” and “beleive”—also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and natural collocations, such as “stream films online,” “local venues,” and “attend a performance.” Proofread spelling and avoid repeating “in our daily life” when a more specific phrase would express the idea.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response mainly uses simple statements and attempts a few longer structures, including “because community of people…” and “when people use our mobile…”. This shows an effort to explain reasons and examples, but sentence patterns remain limited and errors frequently make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “the argue that cinemas,” “i am use mobile phone,” and “they saves money,” where subject–verb forms and verb constructions are inaccurate. Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “in our area no any cinemas but one theater.” Use complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, practise present-simple forms (“people use,” “they save”), and check articles, agreement, and punctuation. Building accurate simple sentences first will make longer explanations easier to follow.
