Student answer (Band 5.0)
A few individuals say that in the technology age theatres and cinemas are not too much important in the current word. People can watch all the leisure activities online, but some people discuss that it is very crucial for economically and for any region culture. There are many prospections of different citizens according to the country situations.
Firstly, in the modern world every individual is very busy they have not enough time to go at any cinema and spend three or four hours in the particular cinema and also consume too much fuel. For instance, due to the current economic crisis the fuel prices and any kind of our routine products that is imported that prices increase daily so people cannot afford this specific item. Because of these, people are use a few websites where they watch movies and also any series easily at home without waste their time.
On the other hand, some persons think that to go at cinema hall is more crucial because it expands the cultural diversity and also, it helps economically. For instance, if individuals will go to the cinema hall for watch a movie so they will must purchase the tickets and they also spend money on the travelling. So, this kind of activities play a very important role economically. The circulation of money is very significant for any country.
According to my opinion, we should expand the culture of cinema and a big TV screen in our country. Due to this we can enjoy and spend a memorable time with our friends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a personal opinion, so the response is relevant to the question. The first body paragraph explains why people may prefer online entertainment, while the next mentions cinema’s cultural and economic value. However, the discussion is only partial: the economic point is illustrated mainly by ticket and travel spending, and the cultural benefit is asserted rather than explained with a specific example. Your opinion—“we should expand the culture of cinema”—is present, but it is not fully clear how you weigh the two views or why cinemas should remain important alongside online viewing. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation and a relevant example, then state your position more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a concluding opinion. “Firstly” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in perspective, and the ideas within each body paragraph are generally related. However, progression is sometimes difficult to follow because several points are joined without a clear relationship, particularly the discussion of fuel prices, imported products, and online viewing. The introduction also refers vaguely to “different citizens” rather than setting out the two sides clearly. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, and connect explanations and examples more explicitly. A conclusion that briefly compares the views would also make the overall argument feel more complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “cultural diversity,” “economic crisis,” “circulation of money,” and “memorable time,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear. For example, “prospections of different citizens” does not express the intended idea, and “not too much important” is an unnatural way to describe the status of cinemas. Repetition of general terms such as “people,” “important,” and “activities” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing entertainment, cultural value, and economic impact, and check that each expression fits its context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if individuals will go to the cinema hall.” However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. Examples include “every individual … they have,” “people are use,” and “they will must purchase,” which show problems with agreement, verb forms, and modal constructions. There are also errors in articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries, as in “go at any cinema” and the long sentence beginning “For instance, due to the current economic crisis.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a supporting clause, then check verb forms and agreement before attempting longer structures.
