Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response touches on both sides of the question: it mentions people watching films on personal phones and suggests that cinemas remain relevant because new movies may not be available online. It also gives a brief opinion about streaming, but the final point, “unparalal afect on eyes,” is unclear, so your position is not established convincingly. The economic and cultural importance of theatres and cinemas is not explained, and several claims—such as entertainment preventing depression—are not clearly connected to the task. The response is also 87 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop reasons and examples. Address each view directly, state your opinion clearly, and support it with specific explanations or examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0

There is a basic attempt to move between ideas, including the contrast marker “On the other hand” and a reference to “In our digital age.” However, the response is one continuous block, with no clear introduction, body paragraphs, or conclusion. Ideas shift abruptly from weekend leisure to depression, unemployment, cultural restrictions, online viewing, and eye health, so the reader cannot follow a sustained line of reasoning. Some links are also unclear, as in “culturally its was not alowed…” Organise the essay into paragraphs, with one main point in each, and use linking phrases to show how each reason supports one side of the discussion or your opinion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt some vocabulary relevant to the topic, such as “digital age,” “entertainment,” “culturally,” and “vital pillars of society.” These choices show an effort to discuss more than basic everyday ideas. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural phrases often make the meaning difficult to understand, including “thertres,” “un empolyed people,” and “unparalal afect on eyes.” Some expressions, such as “Busy person prafer this entertainment,” do not clearly communicate what kind of entertainment or benefit you mean. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases—such as “streaming services,” “live performances,” and “cultural heritage”—and check spelling and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response includes some simple sentence attempts and tries to connect clauses, for example, “But, new movies are not avalabile online websites so people prafer to watch movie in theatres and cinemas.” However, sentence boundaries and grammatical relationships are often unclear. Examples include “In a digital age so many people on weekend go out side,” which lacks a complete, well-formed structure, and “My opinion, while digital streaming offers…” which does not form a complete sentence. Articles, plurals, verb forms, and punctuation also need more consistent control. Practise writing clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using patterns such as “Although streaming is convenient, cinemas…” Proofread each sentence to ensure it has a complete main clause.
