Student answer (Band 5.5)

There are two diffrent minded peoples and both are right in there perspective.

The ones who think that theatres and cinemas are no longer important its because the smart devices and internet is now available to most of the peopes widely. They think you don't need to go outside for these things which are available on there own home so why we need to go to cinemas and spend money for ticktes and travel. They thought that we already these things availble online so there is no need to goes to theatres and cinemas for these thing which are availble already.

The others who argue with this they are also right to there view. They think its help to bussiness for some peoples who don't having jobs , who are related to cinemas and work there this outing help the theaters and cinamas which combinely helping in economic and open the doors for unemployed peopels. Also this is cultural thing which helps peoples who stays home everytime to out from home and enjoy these thing with frineds and their family's. they think multiple peoples visit the cinemas so its help us to comunicating eachother this was our culture in early ages where peoples o to cinemas and theatres to watch there hero's phyicaly and enjoyed alot.

In my perspective the both views are correct because some peoples enjoy to watching movies and drams with friends and family's this thing help them to relax their body's after the long day work, so going for the cinemas will help full to watch movies on huge screens that looks like the real person walking. On the other side who thinks watching online is best option they also right because this thing help them to enjoy on there beds and on in there comfort areas.

For example when i was the student to university my friends and I was going to cinemas to watch our favorite heros on big screen, this thing help me alot to relax my self and enjoy the quality time with friends and others who watched the movie in cinema. but some time i prefer to watch movies online its help me to staying and home and i did'nt spend the money to go for cinema so i watched it in my home or anywhere i was. So both reviews are fine accourding to me.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You discuss both perspectives and give your own view, so the response addresses the main parts of the task. The first side is explained through convenience and avoiding travel and ticket costs; the second is supported with employment, economic benefits, and the social and cultural experience of watching films together. Your university cinema example also makes your personal position clear. However, the discussion is uneven: the online-entertainment argument is mostly repeated rather than developed, and the economic and cultural claims would benefit from more specific explanation. Your opinion is also somewhat qualified—both options are called valid—without clearly stating when or why cinemas remain important despite online access. Develop each side with a distinct reason and a concrete supporting example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the two views, discusses each in a separate paragraph, and then gives your perspective and an example. Phrases such as “The ones who think” and “The others who argue” help signal the change in viewpoint, while “For example” introduces relevant personal evidence. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes weakened by repeated points, particularly the claim that films are already available online. Some references are also unclear, as in “this outing help the theaters and cinamas,” where the reader must infer what “this outing” refers to. The final paragraph combines your general opinion with a long personal example. Use clearer topic sentences, reduce repetition, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “smart devices,” “internet,” “unemployed,” “cultural,” and “big screen.” There are also attempts to express more specific concepts, such as cinemas “open[ing] the doors” for unemployed people. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “two diffrent minded peoples,” “help to bussiness,” and “watching movies and drams” are examples. Spelling errors such as “ticktes,” “availble,” and “comunicating” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of phrases for convenience, employment, and shared cultural experiences, and check spelling and natural word combinations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and a contrast introduced by “On the other side.” This gives the response some variety, and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation recur and sometimes make the reader work to follow the meaning. For example, “They thought that we already these things availble online” lacks a verb construction, while “this thing help them” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening sentence also has an unclear structure: “There are two diffrent minded peoples and both are right in there perspective.” Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them; check verb agreement and tense, and use full stops to separate long or run-on sentences.
