Student answer (Band 5.0)
I would agree with both of the statements. Nowadays, people are more upgrading there lives. They are switching to digital world and latest technologies rather than sticking to the older media sources.Young generations are fastly changing their lifestyles and adopting the new ones. Also they are more familiar with the technology and feel more comfortable. There is no doubt that digital era has brought are lives more convinient.
There is no doubt that people from last generation are still somewhere connected to thier roots and still following their past technologies. Because not everyone has access to social media and there is a generational gap that cannot be filled.still people are working to switch their lives on social media and make their livings more digital.
Also some individuals go with theatres and cinemas because they find it more economical and cultural.I would agree with this also duw to highly priced digital world as compared toh them. In brief, the digital world is more leading to pornography, online gambling, digital frauds and many other negative activites are emerging those are very harmful for society.
Furthermore, there is an example of digital age include online education through which students are more facilitated, online shopping can be done easily without any hassale, video calls can be made for long distances. And the last not the least is artificial intelligence is emerging in digital world that is quiet useful in many ways.
Although, people can watch movies and dramas online but still theatres and cinema splay their own roles which cannot be denied.Through theatres we can experience live performances and acting skills also the actors are praied instantly which increase their energy. cinemas and theatres preserve cultures of the societies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You refer to both sides of the debate and give some relevant points, including online convenience and the cultural value of live performances. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because the discussion is not consistently focused on the importance of theatres and cinemas. The points about online education, shopping, artificial intelligence, gambling and fraud take space without clearly comparing entertainment online with cinema or theatre. Your opening, “I would agree with both of the statements,” also leaves your own position unclear: explain whether you believe these venues remain important despite digital alternatives. Develop fewer points with specific reasons or examples, such as how cinemas support local employment or how live theatre preserves a particular cultural tradition.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some paragraphing, and basic signposts such as “Furthermore” and “Although” show attempts to connect ideas. However, the response has no clear overall progression: it moves from generational habits to social media, then to harmful online activities and unrelated digital services before returning to theatres. Several ideas are placed together without explaining their relationship, and the final paragraph does not clearly conclude the discussion or restate your view. Cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, as in “In brief” before another supporting point. Organise the essay into a clear introduction, one paragraph for online entertainment, one for the continuing value of venues, and a conclusion. Use references and linking phrases to show how each example supports the paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital era,” “generational gap,” “live performances,” and “preserve cultures,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “more upgrading there lives,” “fastly changing,” “highly priced digital world,” and “cinemas splay their own roles.” Spelling errors such as “convinient,” “hassale,” and “praied” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases rather than broad or repeated references to the “digital world.” For instance, distinguish between online streaming services and digital technology, and use vocabulary directly connected to the task, such as audience, ticket revenue, cultural heritage, and shared viewing experience.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic clauses to express reasons and contrast, but the range of structures is limited and errors occur frequently. These include incorrect verb forms and agreement in “people are more upgrading” and “theatres and cinema splay,” as well as missing or incorrect articles and sentence boundaries. In “Because not everyone has access to social media,” the dependent clause is left as a fragment, while “There is no doubt that digital era has brought are lives…” contains several grammatical problems that obscure the intended meaning. Punctuation and spacing also need attention, particularly where sentences run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “while.”
