Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is very essential to include out going activity in your daily routine because it relax our mind and giving us a chance to spend time with our friends. Government should prioritize theatres and cinemas beacuse it plays a huge part in our life by providing entertainment. whenever we get bored so we can go for watching movie in cinema. Now days, Peoples are so busy in their work and jobs and they are negiociating their life by not getting fun. It is so much fun to watching movie in cinema rather than watching alone at home. You can get a chance to communicate with different individuals when you are watching movie in theathres.
I watched some countries are expanding their budget for cinemas and they made many realistic cienmas in their countries. For instance, I watched one reel on instagram and it showed a realistic cienma that is really existed in this world, i saw one scene where some water drops are falling on people clothes whenever an ocean scene come.
Moreover, some drawbacks of cinemas are also existed. It is harmful for childerns because they are consuming some 18+ content by watching movies and parents love to go with their family so it can lead to bad impact on childrens. Now days, people usually prefer to watch movie at their home because they have online platforms such as netflix, and prime video so it may affect the economy of a country because they prefer to watch at home. in 1900s, our ansestors had watched movies in cinema because online platforms were not existed that time.
According to my perspective, government should renovate cinemas and enhancing their features that will encourge peoples to watch movies in theatres because movies plays a huge part in our personal growth. By watching movies in cinema, you can make some new friend and also have some fun.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You express a view that cinemas should be improved and remain available, and you mention both the appeal of online viewing and the cultural or social experience of going out. The example of a cinema with water effects also gives one point some support. However, the discussion is only partial: the economic and cultural importance of theatres is not clearly explained, and the online-viewing argument is mainly stated rather than developed. The point about children watching adult content is relevant but does not directly compare the two views. Your position appears in the opening and conclusion, but it would be clearer if you directly answered whether online entertainment has made cinemas less important and explained why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from the benefits of cinemas to a drawback of online platforms and then to your opinion. Some linking expressions, such as “Moreover” and “According to my perspective,” help signal these shifts. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the opening moves from relaxation to government priorities and then to socialising without showing how the points connect. Several transitions are mechanical or inaccurate, including “whenever we get bored so” and “Now days,” while the final paragraph repeats earlier claims rather than drawing the discussion together. Organise each body paragraph around one side of the debate, and use clear topic sentences and references so readers can follow how each example supports the main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “online platforms,” “economy,” “realistic,” and “personal growth,” and the cinema-effects example shows an attempt to describe a specific experience. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. For example, “negotiating their life by not getting fun” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “out going activity” and “realistic cienmas” are unclear or misspelled. Repeated use of “fun,” “watch,” and “people” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing cultural value, social experience, and economic effects, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a reason clause in “because they have online platforms” and a relative clause in “a realistic cinema that is really existed.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader pause. Examples include “it relax our mind,” “it plays a huge part” after the plural subject “theatres and cinemas,” and “It is so much fun to watching.” The sentence beginning “whenever we get bored so” also combines structures incorrectly. Practise building accurate sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses; check subject–verb agreement and verb patterns such as “fun to watch.”
