Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that in today's age when everything has shifted online, people don't see the importance of theaters and cinemas. But there is another belief in which people say that theatres and cinemas are culturalu and economically very imprtant. in my opinion theatre and cinemas are equaly important. it is better to watch in cinema occassionally.
for those ho beleives that cinema and theatre are not mportant in this age of internet and digital development. they say so because watching a movei or series in cinemna hasmore disadvantages as one have to pay for ickets, secondly they have to book in advance and all that travel is also hectic. its better to watch free, in the comfort home anad no tension of getting late.
while the one beleiving that theatre and cinemas are culturally and economically impprtant has their own points. they say so because one can plan specifically as a day out and go watch a movie in cinmena. this gives a special outing vibe watching at home or online for free does not give that happinessor excitement. economically, watching in cinema and theatre ineases economy.
i beielve that movies should be watched in cinema. the real excitement comes from this. one gets ready specially for going out, spend sometime with close ones. in home there are many distractions and one doesnot feel anything new.
in conclusion, people have their own beleif acoording to the time avaiaable or also monet.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both views and state an opinion, so the response is relevant to the task. The online-view paragraph gives practical reasons—cost, advance booking and travel—while the opposing view mentions a special outing and economic benefits. However, these points are brief and not fully explained; in particular, the claim that cinemas “increase economy” needs a clearer explanation or example. Your opinion that cinema visits bring excitement is present, but the opening says theatres and cinemas are “equally important,” which is not clearly reconciled with the later preference for cinema. The response is also 8 words below the required minimum. Develop each side with specific support and make your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined mechanically with phrases such as “secondly” and “while.” The final sentence, “people have their own belief according to the time available or also money,” does not clearly summarise the discussion or your position. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each reason to its explanation, and make the conclusion restate your view. Consistent paragraphing and more precise links between ideas would make the organisation easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “digital development,” “comfort,” “distractions,” and “economic,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or repetitive, such as “special outing vibe” and “real excitement.” Frequent spelling errors—including “imprtant,” “beleives,” and “cinemna”—also make the writing less clear and reduce the accuracy of your word choices. Some collocations are awkward, for example “watching in cinema” and “increase economy.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for discussing cost, convenience, cultural value and economic impact, and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence that gives several reasons for watching online. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. For example, “for those who believes” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “one have to pay” and “one gets ready … spend sometime” show inconsistent agreement or verb forms. Articles and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, as in “in the comfort home” and the lower-case sentence openings after full stops. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the main ideas remain understandable. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, complete sentence construction, and punctuation before adding more complex structures.
