Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this digital era some of the individuals believes that theatres and cinemas are not any importance because the online application are available for the entertainment. On the other hand some think that these places are still crucial for the economy and culture. In my opinion in the future there impotance can be low due internet and moderm ways for the enjoyment.

Now a days all the individuals have their own mobiles where these people can easily watch movies, dramas, and video. Furthermore, the trending apps such as You Tube, Moviesbox, and TV. These individuals do not waste their time and money to watch these movies in the cinemas and theatre. Moreover, this thing also save their time and they gives more time to family. Some people organize the entertainment in homes by setting of large screens. Additionally, they eat some snacks and enjoy more than others.

On the second hand, in think that if we left these sites alone and we loss our traditions in the front of world. For example, lot of the tourists came to our country which also contribute and give strangth in strong the economy. Most of the visitors have interest in the foreign cultures. Therefore if we do not preserve theatres and cinemas and we face the huge problem which is cinemas play the crucial role in represent culture by performing traditional and folk series on the stage and huge screen. In this way public intrest is increase and lot of individuals attract these type of enjoyment. However, government should be need to invest for these entertainment sites.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the discussion and give a position: online entertainment is convenient, while cinemas and theatres can support cultural representation and the economy. The examples of watching films at home and tourists encountering local traditions are relevant. However, the opinion that these venues may become less important is not fully reconciled with the later claim that authorities should encourage cinema-going. The economic argument is also asserted rather than explained, and the cultural point would benefit from a specific example of a performance or tradition. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation and make your position consistent from the introduction to the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several linking expressions are inaccurate or mechanical, such as “On the second hand” and “Therefore if.” The reference to “these sites” is also unclear because it could mean online platforms or theatres and cinemas. Use more precise transitions, make pronoun references explicit, and organise each body paragraph around one main point followed by its explanation and example. The conclusion should clearly restate the same position established in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital era,” “traditions,” “tourists,” and “economy,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “not any importance,” “organize the entertainment in homes,” and “give strangth in strong the economy” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “impotance,” “moderm,” and “tecnology” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of precise phrases for convenience, cultural preservation, and economic contribution, and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional structure with “if.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, agreement, articles, and verb forms. Examples include “some of the individuals believes,” “the online application are available,” and “this thing also save their time.” The sentence beginning “Therefore if we do not preserve…” is difficult to follow because its clauses are not joined into a complete, clear structure. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and build longer sentences from accurate clauses. More reliable control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to understand.
