Student answer (Band 4.5)
Some people say that in modern era, theathers and cinemas are not much important as people can watch all the entertainment they want online. Other people argue that theaters and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally. In this easy will discuss both points.
First and foremost, In modern era every one have mobile and big LEDs at their home where they can watch every movie and tv programmas they like most in high quality. They are not bound for specific time which they want to follow they can watch when they want. For intance, if someone want to watch any movie at midnight they have to just start the tv.
Furthermore, In theatres and cinemas people have to follow the timing if they want to watch specific movie first they need to check timing of the movie and then have to pay for tickets. Moreover, movie will start playing wheather you reached or not so, people may miss the part of movie if they get late and also people can not skip the scene of movie they do not want to watch. For example if someone book online ticket and do not reach at time movie will start and their money will waste.
In my opinion, theatres and cinemas are not too much important people have to much big LEDs from which they can experience feeling like theatres at home.
In conclusion, theatres and cinemas are not important any more because people can get same experience at home for free. Additionally, they have to bound to specific timing and also they can not skip any scene of movie they do not like to watch at theatres and cinemas

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear opinion that cinemas and theatres are no longer very important, and you support this with relevant points about convenience, flexible viewing times and avoiding ticket costs. The examples about watching a film at midnight and arriving late at a screening help illustrate your view. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the economic and cultural importance of theatres and cinemas is not explained; the opposing view is only repeated in the introduction. Your response therefore addresses the task only partially, with ideas that remain limited and under-developed. To improve, explain at least one economic or cultural benefit, such as employment or the shared experience of live performance, and develop it with an example before giving your own judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs about watching at home and cinema restrictions, a personal opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the main position easy to identify. You also use basic linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion.” However, the overall progression is limited because the body paragraphs repeat similar points about convenience and timing, while the opposing view is not developed. Some linking is mechanical, and the final paragraph repeats earlier claims rather than bringing the discussion together. Plan one paragraph for each view, then a separate, clearly connected statement of your opinion. Use referencing and transitions to show how each point relates to the task, rather than relying mainly on a list of connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “high quality,” “specific movie,” “tickets,” and “skip the scene.” The topic is generally clear, but the vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise, which limits how effectively you can discuss the cultural and economic side of the question. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “theathers,” “programmas,” “intance,” and “bound to specific timing.” These sometimes make the reader pause, although the central meaning is usually recoverable. Build a wider set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases for convenience, affordability, cultural value and employment would help you explain both sides with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You communicate your main points using mostly simple sentences and make some attempts to combine ideas with clauses, for example, “if someone want to watch any movie at midnight they have to just start the tv.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in verb agreement, articles, plurals and sentence boundaries. Examples include “every one have,” “if someone want,” and “their money will waste.” The opening “In this easy will discuss both points” also lacks a clear grammatical subject. These errors do not usually prevent understanding, but they reduce accuracy and sometimes make sentences awkward. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and use a few controlled complex sentences with accurate punctuation rather than joining several ideas loosely.
