Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days with technoligical advancment many people consume content online and they beleive that cinemas and theatres are no longer needed. Others argue that cinemas and theatres can be helpfull in culturral and ecnomic growth, in my opinion both the things have there own benifits according to diffrent aspects, we will discuss both the sides.
On the one hand, in this era of technolgy where mostly people depends on intrenet and used it for everythng either it would be online shopping or ordering food online internet is used for every thing, so with the introduction of ott platforms like netflix which can be accessible for everyone from every corner of the world, so mostly people prefer watching content online on these kind of ott platforms for there convenience and these type of platforms are less expensive as compared to cinemas and theatres.
On the other hand, cinemas and theatres have there on value and importance they can be proved very helpfull to grow ecnomically and culturally, beacuse these two entertainmet mediums can provide employment to thousands of people as it needs large number of people to run them so these platforms can provide livelihood to many famillies.Additionally theatres can be used to show and spread your culuture to the people ,they can be used to demonstrate it through diffrent type of cultural plays and acts.
To summerrize ,both online platforms and physical platforms like theatres and cinems are important for all types of audience and they all can be helpfull to provide livelihood to people and and can be important ecnomically and culturally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a position: online viewing is convenient and less expensive, while cinemas and theatres can provide jobs and present cultural performances. These points are relevant, and the examples of Netflix and cultural plays help make the discussion concrete. However, the opinion that both have benefits is broad and is not developed into a clear judgement about their relative importance. The economic and cultural arguments are also asserted rather than explained in detail—for example, you could show how venues support local businesses or preserve particular traditions. The response therefore covers the main parts of the task, but some ideas remain limited or unclear. Develop each side with a specific explanation and make your own conclusion more decisive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding paragraph. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To summarize” make the progression easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, ideas are often joined in long chains, particularly the online-viewing paragraph, where several points are linked with repeated “so.” This makes the relationships between claims less clear and gives the discussion a mechanical feel. Some references, such as “these two entertainment mediums” and “they all,” are not fully precise. Use shorter sentences to separate reasons and examples, and vary linking methods while making sure each pronoun clearly refers to a specific idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “OTT platforms,” “employment,” “livelihood,” and “cultural plays,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, such as “important,” “platforms,” and “helpful.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “technoligical,” “intrenet,” and “summerrize,” as well as inaccurate forms such as “culturre” and “ecnomic.” Some expressions are not natural in context, for example “grow economically and culturally” and “for their convenience.” Build a more precise set of topic-related expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully; this will make your ideas clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences and use some subordinate clauses, for example “as it needs large number of people to run them,” so there is an effort to express connected ideas. However, the range is limited, and many sentences combine several clauses without secure control. In the opening, the sentence beginning “Now a days” runs through multiple ideas and ends with a comma splice. Other examples include “mostly people depends,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “people prefer watching content online … for there convenience,” which has an incorrect possessive form. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “needs large number of people.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add complex structures with clear punctuation and correct agreement.
