Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some indivisuals argue that theatres and cinemas are no longer crucial for entertainment. While other believe that it is still important for both ecnomic and cultural aspects. In my opinion i believe that in modren era cinemas are not that much important because everything is easily avalible on internet and that easy way to entertain ourself in peacefull envirnoment.
Some people think that cinemas are the playing important in sociaty because it is a way to relax and do some fun in a chill envernment. For exampe going with friends to watch movies or films in cinemas which to gain some new experience and to see differents people from different communities.Another reson is that cinemas paly important role because it is a cultral and social heritage and we are going to safe it for others generations.
While other believe that in modern time cinemas are no longer important for us because lot of peoples useing mobile phones and internet so they can easily watch movies and other social apps. For example going to theatres can cost high cost for watching movie so if we stay home we can save that extra pay, Another reason is time saving because we can save time rather than going to cinemas and also relax ourself in peacefull environment i home.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a clear preference for watching entertainment at home, and you include points about cost, convenience, and cinemas’ cultural role. This gives a relevant response to the topic. However, the discussion of the two views is only partial: the benefits of cinemas are mainly described as relaxation, socialising, and heritage, while their economic importance is not explained. Several points are asserted rather than developed—for example, you say cinemas preserve cultural heritage but do not show how or give a specific example. Your position is also not fully consistent: the opening says cinemas are “not that much important,” while the conclusion focuses on personal preference. Explain both sides more fully and state your view consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the opposing views, and a concluding opinion. Basic signposting such as “For example,” “Another reason,” and “In my opinion” helps readers follow the main points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and the ideas are connected mechanically or inaccurately. The opening “While other believe” is a fragment, and the transition into the paragraph beginning “While other believe” does not clearly identify which view is being discussed. Some sentences run together, particularly the example about going to theatres and the point about saving money. Use complete topic sentences, clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and more controlled punctuation.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “entertainment,” “social heritage,” “communities,” and “expenses,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “important,” “save,” and “peacefull environment.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “indivisuals,” “modren,” “avalible,” and “cultral”—make the writing less clear and reduce control of vocabulary. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “playing important” and “cost high cost.” Aim to learn accurate topic-related collocations and check spelling carefully; more precise wording would help you express the economic and cultural arguments without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic linking structures, including “because,” “while,” and “so,” but most sentence patterns are simple, and attempts at complex structures are often faulty. For example, “While other believe that it is still important” is not a complete sentence, and “going with friends to watch movies … which to gain some new experience” has an unclear clause structure. There are frequent errors in agreement and verb forms, as in “other believe,” “people useing,” and “cinemas paly.” Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and sentence boundaries before adding more complex clauses.
