Student answer (Band 5.0)
Cinemas plays us a crucial role in develop countries. Several individuals argue that from the age of digital, theatres and cinemas are not plays us crucial role as individuals can watch all the entertainment they went online,While other argue that theatres and cinemas are still important from both economically and culturally. I largly agree with both point of views.
Now a days, theatres and cinemas are quit less popular in my country. There are several reasons. First of all, these are not affordable for several individuals. They cannot bear the expenses of going to the cinemas and theatres. Moreover, most of the individuals usually watch movies and dramas through their mobile phones. They oftenly watch movies or dramas with their family through TV without any hesitations. It is also affordable and a convenient way to spend a quality time with their family. Some indivuals like to watch movie alone, so It is best for them.
From the other point of views, some individuals believe that theatres and cinemas are still common form both economically and culturally. Families oftenly go the cinemas to watch some advanced movies because cenimas provide neumrous advantages. individuals oftenly visits cinemas to enjoy with their family or do some relax after working. The other is that cinemas provides the high quality of comfortable chairs and also gives us the high quality of resolutions.they give us more relaxing environment and best way to spend the quality time with their family.
In conclusion, Both are still popular but individuals have their own choice. From my prespective, Both have there numerous advantages, so it depends on the individuals choice how they like to do.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a personal position, so the response is relevant to the task. The first main paragraph explains why online or home viewing appeals to people, especially because it is affordable and convenient; the next gives reasons cinemas remain attractive, including family outings and better viewing facilities. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the economic importance of theatres and cinemas is mentioned in the prompt but is not really explained, and cultural value receives little specific support. Your opinion, “I largely agree with both point of views,” is also unclear because it does not show how you weigh the two arguments. Develop each side with a concrete example and state a more precise position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive, particularly the repeated claims about spending quality time with family and relaxing. Some links are awkward or unclear, such as “From the other point of views,” and the conclusion repeats that both options have advantages without resolving the discussion. Use clearer topic sentences, group related reasons together, and connect each example directly to the point it supports. This would make the organisation more coherent and reduce reliance on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “affordable,” “convenient,” “economically,” “culturally,” and “high quality.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “from the age of digital” and “common form both economically and culturally” do not express the intended ideas naturally, while “advanced movies” is imprecise in this context. Spelling errors such as “cenimas,” “neumrous,” and “prespective” also reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable set of phrases for discussing online entertainment, cinema experiences, and cultural or economic benefits, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, grammatical errors are frequent, and attempts at longer structures are often faulty. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in examples such as “Cinemas plays” and “cinemas provides”; there are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “individuals. They” and “resolutions.they.” The opening sentence is difficult to interpret because several clauses are joined without clear punctuation, and “I largely agree with both point of views” has an incorrect plural form. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then combine ideas using controlled subordinate clauses. Proofread for agreement, articles, and punctuation.
