Student answer (Band 5.5)

Film industries play a fundamental role in developing countries. Few individuals believe theathres and cinema may not valuable in digital age because all entertainments can be watched on online, while other presume that theatres and cinemas are essential for both economically and culturally. This eassy will discuss both view and suggest opinion from my perspective.

To commence with one side, there are several reasons why people may not depict interest in theatres and cinemas. Initially, technology has becoming increasing in very fields, so in modern era some people do not have adequate time to cinemas or theatre for watching movie and dramas. Moreover, tickets can be expensive for most people so that is why they avoid to be there. or instance, a person who have internet in their home, they can enjoy any type of movie in house.

To explicate on other side, cinemas and theatres have a substanial role to play. They contribute in economy of country because they earn subtantial amount of money by making movies. Their also responsibiity to help economy with the assist of them there are a lot issue of country can be solved such as making opportunitie of jobs healthcares and etc. Additional, they can in cultural ways also, they can informed people about the history and traditional value of cuntry. People culd be aware of ancient values.

In my opinion, theatres and cinemas can loss a little bit interest of people because of availability of internet, not enough time. I believe they will even become more benefical of people.

Conclusion, Threatres and cinemas have significant importance, although some people not prefer to go there, nerverthless people want to go cinemas and theatre for experience of big screen and good way to spend a pure time with family and friends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a personal position: online viewing is convenient, while cinemas and theatres retain economic and cultural value. The example of watching a film at home supports the first view, and the points about employment and cultural history are relevant to the second. However, the discussion is only partial because several claims are asserted rather than explained—for example, the link between film revenue and solving issues such as healthcare is unclear. Your opinion also shifts: you say these venues may lose interest, then conclude that people still want to attend, without clarifying how these ideas fit together. Develop each main point with a specific explanation or example and state your position consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, an opinion and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “To commence with” and “To explicate on other side” helps identify the discussion’s stages. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the economic paragraph moves from film earnings to healthcare and job opportunities without showing the connections. Some linking phrases are awkward or repetitive, and the conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than bringing the argument together. Improve cohesion by organising each paragraph around one clear point, then explaining and illustrating it; use pronouns and transitions only where their references are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “fundamental role,” “culturally,” “availability” and “ancient values.” However, the range is limited and frequent spelling, word-form and collocation errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “theathres,” “eassy,” “substanial,” “Their also responsibiity,” and “making opportunitie of jobs.” Phrases such as “depict interest” and “pure time” are not natural in this context. Build accuracy by learning common topic collocations and checking spelling and word forms. For instance, use “show interest in attending” and “spend quality time” rather than the phrases above.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a relative clause in “a person who have internet.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Examples include “technology has becoming,” “a person who have,” “they can informed people,” and “cinemas and theatres can loss.” There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “in digital age” and the fragment-like “or instance.” Practise forming complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement, verb forms and articles; then proofread punctuation so each idea is clearly separated.
