Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and give a clear opinion: online services are convenient, but theatres and cinemas remain important. The examples about rural families and Bollywood releases are relevant, and the economic points about employment and nearby businesses support the second view. However, the two sides are not developed equally. The online paragraph mainly lists convenience and access, while the cultural importance of theatres is only briefly suggested through the shared viewing atmosphere. Your conclusion restates your position but does not explain why the in-person experience matters enough to remain important. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation or specific example, especially the cultural argument, to make the response more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The contrast between the two main paragraphs is clear, and examples generally appear beside the points they support. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes list-like, and linking is mechanical: “On the other hand” is repeated, while “furthermore” and “similarly” do not always create a precise relationship between ideas. Some references are also unclear, such as “this provide employment” and “this people,” making the reader pause to identify what they refer to. Use topic sentences that establish each paragraph’s main claim, then connect explanations and examples more precisely with clear referencing.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “employment opportunities,” “local,” “audiences,” “convenience,” and “social experience.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and there is some attempt to use topic-specific language. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable throughout, including “belive,” “convinent,” “varity,” and “opprotunites.” Several collocations are also unnatural, such as “watch them on online platform,” “full comfort,” and “newly lunch movie.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, rather than relying on direct translations or assembling phrases word by word.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, for example the sentence beginning “because it was convenient and affordable” and the explanation of employment and local businesses. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but grammatical control is inconsistent. Errors include subject–verb agreement in “this provide employment” and “there is also generate income,” missing or incorrect articles in phrases such as “on the online,” and sentence-boundary and capitalization problems, including the lowercase “however” after the opening sentence. Some clauses are awkwardly joined, which makes relationships between ideas less clear. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses; proofread specifically for agreement, articles, and sentence punctuation.
