Student answer (Band 5.5)
When the topic of digital era is discussed, there are divided opinions. A group of people regard theatres and cinemas are no longerr vital because they can watch all the entertainment they want online; whereas few others claim that they will be still important for not only economical needs but also culturally. Both the viewpoints are disccused in below mentioned paragrphs.
Examining the former opinion, the supporter claim that timing is not an issue if they want to watch the shows online in their electronic device. For example, people says that they can watch whatever they like whenever they want. If they want to go to theater then they have to reach their at a specific time, so they don't have to worry about the timing of shows if they can watch it in their homes. To add on, another reason would be in comfortable state. If person decide to go out then, they have to wear appropriate clothing, starting a car, have to sit on theater seat appropreiately and so on. In their houses, person can wear any clothing, can watch while sleeping with the comfy blankets on. Don't have to stress about anything else.
On the contrary, the proponents of the latter view argue that theatres and cinemas are evident for financially and culturally because they centers like cineams and theaters are contributing to number of jobs. Many of employee works in cineams and theaters and their home runs with their earning. For instance, a person is working as a cashier in cineplex full-time. He or She is getting paid so he or she can afford living expences. Another reason is that it is the places where family can come and spend their a day off together. To illustrates, a couple have a day-off together so they can plan movie night or date night where they can enjoy watching shows in big screens with 3D effect and other technology.
To sum up and offer my position I support that cinemas and theater are evitable part of our community because they provide number of jobs and it is a place for leisure time of most of people. However, the digital age has it own benefits but, it can't replace entertainment centers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear position: you support cinemas and theatres because they provide employment and shared leisure, while acknowledging the convenience of online viewing. The examples about watching at home and a cinema cashier are relevant. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the online-viewing paragraph mainly repeats convenience through timing and comfort, while the economic and cultural case would benefit from broader explanation. The cultural point is limited to families spending a day off together, and the conclusion introduces little beyond the earlier claims. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation of its wider significance—for example, how venues support local businesses or preserve shared cultural experiences.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding position. Transitions such as “Examining the former opinion” and “On the contrary” help signal the discussion, and the reader can follow the main progression. This organisation is effective, though some linking is mechanical or awkward: “To add on” and “To sum up and offer my position” sound formulaic, while “To illustrates” does not connect the example smoothly. Some references are also unclear, such as “they” in the sentence about reaching the theatre. Use simpler, more natural transitions and make pronoun references explicit; within paragraphs, connect each example directly to the reason it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “digital age,” “contributing to number of jobs,” “leisure time,” and “3D effect.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “economical needs” does not express the intended economic importance, and “their home runs with their earning” obscures the point about workers supporting their households. Spelling errors such as “cineams,” “disccused,” and “paragrphs” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing employment, cultural value, and convenience, and check spelling and word forms carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “If they want to go to theater then they have to reach their at a specific time.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms occur across the response. For example, “the supporter claim” has a subject–verb agreement problem, “If person decide” lacks correct article and agreement, and “a couple have a day-off” does not maintain consistent agreement. Some sentences are also fragments, such as “Don’t have to stress about anything else.” Practise building complete sentences with accurate subjects and verbs, and check articles and plural forms while editing.
