Student answer (Band 4.5)
Over the years, entertainment become a part of lifestyle.People like to watch the movies but everyone has there own choices and recommendation. The contradiction between the group of peoples is acceptable.
Actually people in technology age refers to comfort and discourage to watch such shows , movies in theatre and cinema halls because the tickets are costly over time and also they have some lack of confidence to watch entertainment in public. So the digital tech age want to watch the shows etc anytime anywhere in free time also acess them in remote areas.Likewise booking slots is too much difficult and online provides them every entertainment in couple of hours after release. The online saves money and time and not worth.
But the group of people that says the in person theates and movies are important because they can help the economy by buying costly tickets from government websites that can overall increase the budget for more income. As well as the aspect of culture they met different type of humans, race and ethnicity which make connections. The large screens can help people to more dive into the situation and overall well experience. The group of people enjoy in public places while helping economy.
For my opinion i choose the digital technology age becasue they are well educated then the other group of people helping there economy while watching the entertaintment anywhere. They assume that the theatre are old now as well as cinemas.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both views: online entertainment is presented as convenient and cheaper, while cinemas are linked to economic benefits, cultural contact and the large-screen experience. You also state a preference for digital technology. However, the discussion is only partially developed, and some points are unclear or unsupported—for example, the claim that cinemas help the economy through “buying costly tickets from government websites.” Your opinion is also difficult to follow because you say digital viewers are “helping there economy” without explaining how. The conclusion is unfinished (“In conclusion, the”), so the response does not provide a complete ending. The response is 12 words below the required minimum. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation or example, and finish by restating your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response into an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a personal opinion. This gives the reader some sense of the discussion’s direction. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and links between ideas are sometimes unclear. For instance, the sentence about cinemas, government websites and increased income does not show how these points connect. Linking expressions such as “Actually,” “Likewise,” and “As well as” are used, but they do not always establish a clear relationship between the ideas. The final paragraph is incomplete, which leaves the essay without a coherent ending. Use a clearer sequence—claim, explanation, example—and ensure each paragraph develops one central point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital tech age,” “economy,” “culture,” “ethnicity,” and “large screens,” so the reader can identify the main subject. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as watching entertainment “anytime anywhere” and making connections with different people. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the intended meaning hard to understand. Examples include “the contradiction between the group of peoples,” “the online saves money,” and “more dive into the situation.” Spelling errors such as “acess,” “becasue,” and “entertaintment” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural topic phrases and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “while.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes obscure meaning. Examples include “entertainment become a part of lifestyle,” where the verb form and article are missing, and “everyone has there own choices,” where the possessive form is incorrect. There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction in “the digital technology age … they are well educated,” and punctuation is inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together. Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns, using articles and possessives, and separating complete sentences with appropriate punctuation. Aim for clear, controlled sentences before adding more complex structures.
