Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the discussion and state a clear opinion: online viewing is convenient, but cinemas and theatres remain important, particularly for economic reasons. Relevant points include streaming services, limited time, social outings, employment and revenue. However, the two views are not developed equally. The convenience argument is explained through watching at home, while the cultural importance of theatres is only briefly mentioned and not supported with a specific example. Your final point about larger, clearer screens adds a reason for attending cinemas, but it arrives late and is not fully connected to your main argument. Develop each key idea with a clear explanation or example, and make the cultural case more explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that restates your position. This makes the discussion easy to follow in broad terms. You also use signposts such as “However,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” to show shifts between ideas. At times, though, connections within sentences are unclear or mechanical, especially in the paragraph beginning “Moreover, these things are great impact on economy and culture aspects,” where several claims are joined without clear relationships. References such as “these things” and “its” can also make it difficult to identify what you mean. Use clearer topic sentences and divide linked claims into shorter, logically connected sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “streaming websites,” “revenue,” “social activities,” and “realistic views,” and you attempt phrases such as “hustle and bustle world.” However, the range and control are limited by repeated general words such as “things,” “important,” and “people,” as well as inaccurate collocations and word forms. Phrases such as “great impact on economy,” “pleasure moments,” and “clear and huge” do not express your ideas naturally, while spelling errors such as “neccessary,” “cultutral,” and “beacuse” reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “although,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. For example, “people can watched” should use the base form after “can,” and “individuals has limited time” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “they prefer to watching movies,” the verb pattern is incorrect, while “these things are great impact” is missing a grammatical link. Some long sentences also run several ideas together, making the structure harder to follow. Practise accurate verb patterns and agreement, and punctuate complex sentences so each relationship is clear.
