Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this rapidly evolving world, technology has been increase significantly so that it is often debated whether theatres and cinema are no longer crucial. Some believe that as individual can watch all the entertainment they want online and other argue that theatres and cinema are still vital both economically and culturally. This easy will first evaluate both viewpoint before presenting my final thought.
On the one hand, few people believe that theatres and cinemas are no longer. This is because, every entertainment programs such as, movies, series, and other kind of shows. For instance, in India, mostly young people watch series and movie on online stemming platform because it is convenient and people easily watch all types of programs at any place. Furthermore, also people watch online programs in any time because it available on 24/7. Hence, it save individual time and also they use their extra time for other thing such as, study and work.
On the other band, some argue that theaters and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally because it create job opportunities and give employment to people. To instance, many individual work in cinemas as a waiter and also work in ticket counter so that it create problem for that type of person's in many countries mostly people prefer to watch movie in homes instead of cinemas. Another think is that it also reduce culture, many people reduce to watch sparitual movie. consequences, it is not only decrease economy but also reduce culture.
In conclusion, although using online platform give so many benefits, also it reduce economy of the country and I believe that government should provide more facilities ton the theaters and cinemas, If people are less use cinemas, it will increase economic problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a personal position, especially in the conclusion where you argue that online platforms have benefits but can harm the economy. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The online-entertainment paragraph explains convenience and 24/7 access, but the opposing paragraph does not clearly explain the cultural importance of theatres and cinemas; the claim that people watch fewer “spiritual” films is difficult to follow and is not supported with an example. The economic point about cinema jobs is relevant, but its explanation becomes unclear. To strengthen the response, explain each view more fully and make your own opinion consistent and explicit throughout, rather than relying mainly on broad claims.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand,” “On the other band,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are joined mechanically or left incomplete. For example, “This is because, every entertainment programs such as…” does not lead to a complete explanation, while “Another think is that it also reduce culture” is unclear in its connection to the previous point. Some linking expressions, including “Hence” and “To instance,” are used inaccurately. Build each paragraph around one clear point, then explain and illustrate it with a complete, logically connected example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “convenient,” “job opportunities,” “employment,” and “economically and culturally,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. Examples include “online stemming platform” for a streaming service, “reduce culture,” and “reduce to watch sparitual movie.” There are also repeated basic terms such as “people,” “watch,” and “important,” which restrict precision. Aim to use accurate phrases such as “streaming platforms,” “cultural heritage,” and “attend a cinema,” and check spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the cultural and economic arguments rather than leaving them vague.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional in the conclusion. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “technology has been increase” has an incorrect verb form, and “it save individual time” lacks subject–verb agreement. The fragment “This is because, every entertainment programs such as…” does not form a complete sentence, while “If people are less use cinemas” has an incorrect verb pattern. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and verb forms before adding more complex clauses.
