Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays with the increased digital advancement, some individuals agrue that theaters and cinemas are not as valued as they used to be anymore, since everything is availabe online now. Other ones say that theaters and cinemas still carry the same importance in many apects. In my opinion i see that no matter how advanced we get, Art remains very valuable.
Some people see that going to theaters to attend plays or going to cinemas to watch movies is a waste of time now, and that is because everything is available onine wether it was art plays or movies, just by clicking one button they get quick access to whatever cintent they desire. Mostly these people are unfortunatly ignorant of the value these entertainment sources carry.
On the other hand, people of culture, have another view concerning theaters and cinemas, they see them as a political and a cultural representatives. Mostly because they represent the identity of a country, and also they are one of the main cultural attractions and introducers of the social identity to the world. Furthermore they are also contributers in economy since they attract visitors from different backgounds to discouver the country. I am the perfect example of that, as in my own experience i visited Turkey just because i was a huge fan of it's cinema, which created an urge in me that i had to fill with visiting and discovering their culture and traditions by myself. Here is why i think it is very important for theaters and cinemas to be appreciated and more valued. In addition to that they are the perfect way to show art and express the human nature if practiced with passion and love.
Finally, despite all the digital development we are witnessing, Art still caries an important part of the society as it contibutes in economy and culture which reprenst valuable aspects in every country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both perspectives and make your own position clear: you argue that online access does not remove the value of art and cultural venues. The point that online viewing is convenient is relevant, while your discussion of national identity, tourism and economic benefits gives the opposing view more substance. Your personal example about visiting Turkey because of its cinema also supports your opinion. However, the first view is explained mainly as people considering venues a “waste of time”; you could develop the practical reasons behind this view, such as lower cost or convenience, rather than describing its supporters as “ignorant.” Some claims about cultural identity and economic contribution would also benefit from more specific explanation. This uneven development keeps the response from fully extending all its relevant ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting the online-entertainment view, a longer paragraph supporting the continuing importance of venues, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand,” “Furthermore,” and “Finally” help signal the direction of the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Here is why” does not smoothly introduce the conclusion drawn from your Turkey example, and “Mostly because” begins a fragment rather than linking a complete explanation. The third paragraph also combines cultural identity, tourism, personal experience and artistic expression, so its progression becomes crowded. Use clearer topic sentences and divide or sequence these supporting points more deliberately to make the relationships between ideas easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt relevant topic vocabulary, including “cultural attractions,” “social identity,” “visitors,” and “traditions,” and these choices help communicate the essay’s main ideas. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “agrue,” “availabe,” “onine,” “cintent,” and “contibutes.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “political and a cultural representatives,” “introducers of the social identity,” and “carry the same importance.” Repetition of “important” and “value” limits the range further. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for instance, describe venues as “cultural institutions” and say they “contribute to the economy.” This would make your vocabulary more precise without requiring unnecessarily complex words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and longer sentences with subordinate clauses, as in “since everything is available online now” and the sentence explaining your visit to Turkey. The main argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. In “In my opinion i see,” the pronoun needs capitalization and the phrasing is redundant; “people of culture, have” has an unnecessary comma; and “they are also contributers in economy” lacks a grammatical article and uses an incorrect preposition pattern. The sentence beginning “Mostly because” is incomplete, while “Here is why” does not form a clear grammatical link to the preceding example. Review sentence boundaries, articles, agreement and punctuation, and vary complex structures while keeping each sentence complete and controlled.
