Student answer (Band 5.0)

Theaters and cinemas play an masive role to draw a socity and indulge youth into think culturally and getting aware about thier history by the help of entertainment. today many of women are aware about thier right and how she should be treaten into socitey in subortinatly beacuse of watching theater or a movie where a charector which any human being could realate and refleact them and even they feel that it is me or it was his friend. this kind of act which gave any cinema through the help of some story which created by commaner, so yes cinema is important and play humongus role in our socity.

even if we discuss about how it is also helpfull as economically which is aslo debateble, beacuse if any film industry or drama scholl or a theater earn more in financial way beacuse of the public it is quite big achivement as a socity beacuse, any of cinema bring thought and story should be alive and their postive thout should pass by the genration moreover it is also helpfull in capitalist way for the socity and for the country.

in my opnion and experince i am from art backgroung and my colledge drama compny were representing our colledge they are showing secanrio of world war how the war affect the socity and the inocents perhapse they cant dipict it by just theplay but atlest through the help of play many people are get aware about war isuue, also beacuse if this they get reward and a cheque for the student so this is how a small drama group gave big massege to the socity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response gives a clear preference for the continuing importance of cinemas and theatres, and the examples about social awareness and your college drama group are relevant. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the argument for online entertainment is not explained: there is no account of its convenience, accessibility, or variety. The economic point is mentioned, but its explanation is unclear, and the cultural argument relies on broad claims rather than developed reasons. The personal example about a play depicting war helps illustrate cultural value, but it does not fully support the economic side. To strengthen the response, present each view in a separate, developed argument and state your position clearly in a concluding sentence.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation into paragraphs, with the first focusing mainly on cultural influence, the second on economic value, and the final paragraph giving a personal example. This gives the reader a basic sense of the response’s direction. However, there is no clear progression through both sides of the question, and the opposing view is absent. Connections such as “even if we discuss” and “moreover” do not always show the relationship between ideas accurately, while several sentences combine many points without clear links. The final paragraph also introduces the personal example without a concluding summary. Use a more deliberate structure—one paragraph for online entertainment, one for the continuing value of venues, and a conclusion—and make each sentence develop the paragraph’s main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response attempts topic-related vocabulary, including “film industry,” “capitalist,” “generation,” “character,” and “depict,” and it communicates ideas about cultural awareness and economic benefits. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make parts difficult to understand, for example “masive,” “socity,” “thout,” and “dipict.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “draw a society” and “play humongus role.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than using ambitious words without control. Proofread spelling carefully and learn useful phrases for this topic, such as “raise public awareness,” “generate employment,” and “preserve cultural heritage.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example the sentence beginning “today many of women are aware,” and you use basic linking structures to connect ideas. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries can make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “a masive role,” “how she should be treaten,” and “many people are get aware.” Several sentences run on, particularly the opening and the final paragraph, so the relationships between clauses are unclear. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb patterns, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
