Student answer (Band 5.0)
in this generation some people likes to go cinemas and theaters but some love to live in home and watch digitally or some people prefer making theaters at home .
still, I have seen many people going cinema and theaters with friend and family. and at that moment they get to spend time with their family . some prefer to go alone so that they have time for themself. some they separate time for their family so that they can and go to theater and was movies and there are a lot of benefit of this also example they can be mentally relax and share their thoughts .
but some they prefer spending their quality time with themselves and watch movies alone and in this generation nothing is impossible we can make theaters like room with different technology. some people say that going on cineana is waste of time and money its because they don't want to go outside to don't love to watch movies see and sit with a lot of people.
In my opinion I prefer going out in Theatre and spend my quality time with them. in my family every is bg boing their for so we usually don't have time for each other but when we are free then we prefer going out and spend time together .
overall, there is different openion of everyone we all know some old people think we have phone so we don't need to outside t watch spend time and money . some think this won't be wast of money or time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a personal view, stating that you prefer going to the theatre and spending time with your family, and you mention reasons such as shared time and relaxation. However, the response only partly addresses the discussion: the economic and cultural importance of theatres and cinemas is not explained, and the online-entertainment view is described mainly as watching alone or avoiding crowds. Ideas such as “there are a lot of benefit” are not developed with a clear example or explanation, and the conclusion repeats that people have different opinions rather than bringing the two views together. To strengthen the response, explain each side directly—for example, how online viewing offers convenience, while venues support jobs and shared cultural experiences—and support your opinion with specific reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: it introduces differing preferences, discusses going out, considers watching at home, gives your opinion, and ends with a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, progression between ideas is often unclear, and several points are repeated, especially the contrast between going out with family and watching alone. Connectors such as “but,” “still,” and “overall” are used, but they do not always show the precise relationship between the ideas that follow. Some sentences also contain several thoughts without clear links, making the argument difficult to follow. Organise the body around the two views in the question, use clear topic sentences, and make each paragraph develop one main point before moving to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cinemas,” “theaters,” “digitally,” “quality time,” and “technology.” These words allow you to communicate the general subject and your preference. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, while inaccurate or unclear choices sometimes make meaning harder to understand. For example, “making theaters at home” and “they separate time for their family” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “cineana” and “openion” also show spelling problems. Build a more precise set of topic-related expressions, such as “streaming services,” “live performances,” “shared viewing experience,” and “cultural venues.” Check spelling and collocations, and choose words that clearly distinguish watching online from attending a venue.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, including clauses linked with “so that” and “because.” This shows some effort to express reasons and contrasts. However, the range of sentence structures remains limited, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries are frequent enough to make parts difficult to follow. Examples include “some people likes,” “they get to spend time with their family,” and “I prefer going out in Theatre and spend my quality time with them.” Several sentences begin with lowercase letters or join separate ideas with full stops and conjunctions inconsistently. Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then add controlled complex clauses. Pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement, consistent verb forms after “prefer,” and capitalisation and punctuation.
