In this digital age theatres and cinemas is still the best entertainment for the young genration. But in this era lots of ott platfrom commen like netflix, and prime people enjoy different kind of shows on their devices like laptop and phones etc.
Moreover, theatres and cinemas plays a vital role in entertainment industry.
If we see before 10 year that was the prime time of the theatres and cinemas. People watch movies togather and enjoy with friends and family. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response recognises that cinemas and theatres have an economic and entertainment role, and it gives a relevant example through the discussion of *Interstellar*. However, it does not adequately discuss both views in the question: online entertainment is mentioned only briefly, with no explanation of why people may prefer it, and the cultural importance of live venues is not developed. Your own position is also unclear: the opening says cinemas are “still the best,” but the response ends before explaining your view of online platforms or reaching a conclusion. The economic point is asserted rather than supported. The response is also 82 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to address the task fully. Develop each side and state your opinion clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is some basic organisation: the opening introduces the topic, the next paragraph focuses on cinemas, and “For example” signals an illustration. These features give the reader a limited sense of direction. However, the response does not progress through a complete discussion: the final paragraph begins “Now, in the digital age lots of young” and stops mid-sentence, so there is no developed comparison or conclusion. Connections between ideas are also weak; for example, the move from ticket sales to acting skills and then the economy is not explained. Use separate paragraphs for the online view, the continuing value of venues, and your opinion, and connect each supporting example explicitly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital age,” “entertainment industry,” “tickets sold out,” and “economy,” so the general subject is usually identifiable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to read, such as “genration,” “platfrom,” “togather,” and “moives.” Some expressions are imprecise or unnatural, including “new type knowledge” and “the prime time of the theatres and cinemas.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and a wider range of terms for comparing online viewing with shared cultural experiences. Proofreading spelling and choosing precise phrases would make your ideas clearer without requiring unnecessarily advanced vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, and the basic meaning is often recoverable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently. For example, “theatres and cinemas is” has subject–verb disagreement, while “theatres and cinemas plays” repeats this problem. Tense and sentence construction are also unreliable in “People watch movies togather” and “hollywood at the start of the era not do so much business.” The final fragment, “Now, in the digital age lots of young,” is incomplete and prevents the thought from being understood. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and tense. Use a few controlled complex sentences to explain causes, contrasts, and examples.
