Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people beleive that cinemas and theatres are not useful in this digital age because they can whatch whatever they want online while others beleive that theatres and cinemas are still important both by means of money and to represent a culture.
I completely agree with both views because this is modern age and everyone has access to internet however, cinemas and theatres are still important because they play essentail role in economy and culture.
To start with the age of digital era, people have access to internet and they have subscribed netflix and other apps that given them basic entertainment they want.Individuals sees whatever they want in their smartphones at their own homes .it saves their time and money.Consequently, They prefer to live in convenient mode and in this way they save their money and valuable time. This is the reason they thing going to cinema is of no importance.
To argue with other point is that, theatres and cinemas are still considered valuable by means of both money and cultural ways. Individuals whenever they have time they used to go to cinemas or theatres for refreshment. And some people love to spend their leisure time in watching movies on big screen esspecially the hit movies . To elaborate features of cinemas there is an example that cinemas have special offers for couples to watch movies on deals that gives them asthetic and peaceful time to spend with eachother and in return they boost their economy and hence it is culturelly preserved.
In my opinion, both have their own benefits and are proven by their own ways.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a personal view, particularly in the opening, where you recognise online convenience as well as the economic and cultural value of venues. The discussion of online viewing includes relevant points about saving time and money, while the cinema paragraph mentions social outings and revenue. However, the position that you “completely agree with both views” is not fully explained, and the conclusion merely says both have benefits. The cultural argument is especially unclear: the example of couples’ offers does not show how cinemas preserve culture. Develop each view with a clearer explanation and a specific, relevant example, then state precisely how you weigh the two sides.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and several links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “To argue with other point is that” does not clearly introduce the opposing view, while “and hence it is culturally preserved” does not show how the preceding example leads to that conclusion. Some ideas are repeated, such as the convenience and time-saving benefits of online viewing. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example directly to its claim, and make the conclusion summarise your position rather than repeat a general statement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital age,” “subscribed,” “entertainment,” “economy,” and “cultural,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning awkward: “by means of money,” “live in convenient mode,” and “culturally preserved” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “beleive,” “whatch,” “esspecially,” and “asthetic” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of expressions for discussing access, venue revenue, and cultural significance, and check spelling carefully. Prefer natural phrases such as “financially important” and “preserve cultural traditions.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a contrast in the opening and a cause-and-effect link with “Consequently.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation can make the reader work to follow the ideas. For instance, “Individuals sees” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “they used to go” does not fit the intended general present meaning. Several sentences run together, as in “To start with the age of digital era, people have access…,” while full stops and commas are often misplaced or missing. Practise accurate present-tense statements and divide longer ideas into complete sentences with clear punctuation.
