Student answer (Band 5.0)
This is a discussion of digital age in which their are two opinon onw is about entertmaint online which means to say theatrs and cinemas are less valuable and te othe on says theatres and cinemas are valuable both economivally and culturally .I go with the first one ,Because almost all the activites can be taken place online. There are three strong point which i'm going to provide on it .
First one ,By seeing the movies are defferent things which provides entertainment online we can sote the problem of time and a specific problem .As in case of online we can watch anything any time or at anyplace .
This might save our cost of going at a place like cinema to watch something and to pay for watching them .By watching the things online indigtial time also not make us feel bored while watching it .Because in cinema we have to sit at a place for a long time to avile that one thing .
Lastly we can watch the things according to us we no more need to care about the other .Beacuse the full control is in our own hand so we cn watch anything at any time with no restriction to move forward or backword .
I didn't diagree with the entertaiment and the joy which we get in cinema but it was not much valuable in the present time .As the young youth want the things to be smarter .So therefore online things are now more valuable .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear preference for online entertainment, especially in “I go with the first one,” and give relevant reasons such as convenience, lower travel costs, and control over pausing or choosing content. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the case for theatres’ and cinemas’ economic and cultural importance is barely addressed. You acknowledge the enjoyment of cinema, but do not explain its wider cultural role or economic contribution. Your supporting points also overlap and remain general rather than being illustrated with specific examples. To strengthen the response, explain the opposing view fairly, then develop your own position with a concrete example and a clearer comparison of the two forms of entertainment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, and sequencing phrases such as “First one” and “Lastly” help signal that you are presenting reasons. Your position is also identifiable. However, the overall progression is limited: the first two body paragraphs both focus on convenience and control, while the opposing view is not given its own developed paragraph. Some links are awkward or unclear, including “This might save our cost” and “By watching the things online indigtial time also not make us feel bored.” The opening sentence is difficult to follow and does not establish a clear route through the discussion. Organise the essay around the two views and your conclusion, and use linking expressions to show contrast and cause more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “entertainment,” “valuable,” “cost,” “restriction,” and “control,” so the main topic can be understood. However, the range is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms that make reading difficult, such as “entertmaint,” “defferent,” and “economivally.” Several phrases are also unnatural, for example “sote the problem of time” and “to avile that one thing.” Aim to learn accurate collocations for discussing access, affordability, and cultural value, and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you express the distinction between watching content at home and experiencing a live or shared performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example “This might save our cost of going at a place like cinema…” and “Because the full control is in our own hand…”. The basic message is usually recoverable, but sentence structures are limited and several attempts at complex sentences are faulty. Examples include “There are three strong point which i'm going to provide on it,” where agreement and clause structure are problematic, and “As in case of online we can watch anything any time or at anyplace,” which lacks a clear grammatical frame. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly the comma before “Because.” Practise building complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause links, then proofread each sentence for completeness.
