Student answer (Band 5.0)
Theatre and cinemas are essential development of modern world. Some people argue that theater and cinemas are no longer important as social media provides every kind of content at home whereas some believes that it is important both socially and economically.
On the one hand, theaters provide benefits to the country because it is one of the most required by public. People who worked in theaters are highly paid. Mostly old aged people who don't introduce to the social media yet loves to watch movies in cimemas. They believe that watching movies in cimemas are more fun because they creat and environment that attract the individuals. In addition, in cinemas people cut from outside environment such as work and household chores.
On the other hand, social media provide every content without being paid. Therefor, people avoid to go to cinemas and prefer to watch movies at home. Moreover, some people like to being alone so social media is for them. They could be entertained alone without any disturbance.
From my perspective atleast once in a week people should go to cimenas in order to experience being surrounded by public. also people should invest in cinemas beacouse it is most demandable by individuals.
In conclusion, It depends on person's personality whether he like to being alone or with people. The main idea is entertainment which should be experienced by ever individuals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a personal opinion: the essay contrasts free online entertainment with cinemas’ social and economic value, and recommends visiting cinemas regularly. However, the discussion is only partial and the position is not fully clear. The economic argument that cinema workers are “highly paid” is asserted without explaining how cinemas benefit the wider economy, while the cultural importance in the prompt receives little attention. The point about older people and the social experience is relevant, but needs a specific example or fuller explanation. The conclusion mainly says that preferences differ rather than clearly resolving which view you support. The response is also 20 words below the required minimum, limiting the space available to develop these ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the basic organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several points are listed without being connected or explained—for example, the claims about older people, cinema’s atmosphere, and escaping chores. Some linking is mechanical, and the final paragraph repeats the idea that entertainment depends on personal preference rather than drawing the discussion together. Develop one central point in each body paragraph and use clearer references between sentences to make the argument flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social media,” “household chores,” “disturbance,” and “economically,” and you attempt to express ideas such as the cinema’s atmosphere and social experience. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or repetitive choices make parts of the response less clear. “Social media” is not quite the same as online streaming or entertainment platforms, and “most demandable” is not a natural way to describe cinema-going. There are also spelling errors such as “cimemas,” “beacouse,” and “Therefor.” Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling; varying repeated words such as “people,” “movies,” and “important” would also strengthen the essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “whereas” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “some believes” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “people who worked in theaters are highly paid” shifts awkwardly between past and present. In “Mostly old aged people who don't introduce to the social media yet loves,” the clause structure, verb form, and agreement are faulty. Articles, plurals, and punctuation also need attention, as in “Theatre and cinemas are essential development.” Practise building accurate sentences before adding more complex clauses.
