Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the rapidly evolving world, the threatres and cinemas has sparked considerable debates among individuals and experts alike. While there are valid arguments in support of and against of this topic. Some people inclined to believe that digital world changes the demand of cinemas and theatres and others argue that it is equally significant for the economic growth. In this essay, I will explain both perspectives in detail before presenting a reasoned conclusion based on practical implications.
To begin with, those whose support that the idea of the movie centers is not playing a benificial role, often point of several compelling reasons. One of the most prominent argument is that people watch movies and dramas on online platfoams according to their choices. For example, various surveys have shown that individuals prefer to watch movie on Netflix because all newly released movies are on a platfoam. They enjoy various kinds of movies with a small amount of subcription. ultimately, resulting in saves money and time .
On the other hand, there is a strong case to be made for the opposing perspective is that cinemas and theatres plays a substaintal in maintaining cultural values and for thr growth of economy. For instance, India is famous for their movies and dramas, there are countless cinemas which promotes their culture and traditions. A large numbers of empolyees are relay on Industry.
In conclusion, is is evident that both perspectives on entertainment industry hold a significant weight, deserve thoughful refection. Personaly, In my opinion online entertainment is more convenient, as it strikes a balance between practicality and idealism.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the discussion and state a preference for online entertainment, so the response is relevant to the task. The first view is supported with the points that streaming offers choice and can save money and time; the India example also begins to explain cinemas’ cultural and economic value. However, these ideas are only briefly developed. The economic point, “A large numbers of employees are relay on Industry,” is not explained, and the cultural example does not show specifically how cinemas preserve traditions. Your conclusion gives an opinion, but “strikes a balance between practicality and idealism” is unclear and does not fully resolve the comparison. Develop each side with a clear explanation and a specific example, and state your position more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad progression. However, some linking is mechanical, and the opening paragraph contains several ideas without a clear, direct thesis. Within paragraphs, connections between claims and examples are sometimes weak; for instance, the point about streaming subscriptions is followed by “ultimately, resulting in saves money and time” without a complete sentence or clear link. The final paragraph also moves quickly from acknowledging both views to favouring online entertainment. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “digital world,” “economic growth,” “cultural values,” and “substantial,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that reduce precision, such as “threatres,” “platfoams,” “benificial,” “subcription,” and “substaintal.” Some phrases are unnatural or imprecise, including “movie centers,” “a small amount of subscription,” and “a large numbers of employees are relay on Industry.” These issues fit a limited but usable range: you communicate the main topic, but control of collocation and spelling is inconsistent. Learn common combinations such as “streaming platforms,” “affordable subscription,” and “provide employment,” and proofread carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening with “While” and a relative clause beginning “those whose support.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, sentence boundaries, articles, and verb forms sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the threatres and cinemas has sparked” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “cinemas and theatres plays” also uses the wrong verb form. “While there are valid arguments …” is left as a fragment, and “the opposing perspective is that …” creates an awkward, incomplete construction. The conclusion begins “In conclusion, is is evident,” which also contains a sentence-level error. Practise building accurate complete sentences before adding subordinate clauses, and check agreement and punctuation.
