Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify both sides of the debate: online entertainment is more convenient, while theatres and cinemas provide jobs and tax revenue. However, the discussion is only minimally developed. The economic point is introduced in “negative effects on our jobs” but is not explained with a clear example, and the cultural importance mentioned in the prompt is not meaningfully discussed. Your own opinion is also not stated clearly; “I will give you several reasons that support my opinion” promises a position but does not reveal it. The response ends before completing its final example, so the task remains substantially incomplete. The stated minimum length is not met. To improve, give a direct opinion and develop each view with specific reasons and relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, followed by a paragraph about the continuing value of cinemas and another about online alternatives. Linking expressions such as “however,” “for example,” and “in addition” show an effort to connect ideas. Nevertheless, progression is difficult to follow because several sentences are incomplete or unclear, and the final paragraph stops mid-thought at “amusement mo”. The opening also promises a discussion without clearly setting out the writer’s position. Some connections are mechanical or confusing, such as “If we imagination this important concept,” which does not establish a clear relationship with the next point. Use complete paragraphs with one main idea each, and connect each explanation and example explicitly.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “digital age,” “economically,” “culturally,” “online entertainment,” and “preference,” which helps signal the subject of the essay. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, but inaccurate word choice, spelling, and collocation often make the meaning hard to follow. Examples include “the entire the world system,” “one of the most important theory,” and “our earning”; “ticketse,” “cinemaas,” and “viwes” also show weak spelling control. “Amusement” is not a natural fit in “any types of amusement” in this context. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing convenience, employment, cultural experiences, and audience preferences, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You make some attempts to combine ideas using clauses and connectors, for example, “Some people say that … due to few reasons” and “If we imagination this important concept…”. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, which makes relationships between ideas unclear. In “the digital age are becoming,” the subject and verb do not agree; “theatres and cinemas value have eliminated” has an incorrect verb construction; and “many people are giving preference online entertainment” is missing a necessary grammatical link. Articles, plurals, and punctuation also need attention, as in “one of the most important theory” and the semicolon after “however.” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries.
