Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both sides of the discussion: online viewing is presented as convenient and less costly, while cinemas are linked to relaxation, the economy and culture. Your final sentence also gives a position, although it is brief and does not clearly explain how the two forms can both contribute. The ideas remain limited and are not sufficiently developed; for example, the economic point, “government get money in this places,” is not explained or supported with a clear example. The response also does not meet the required minimum of 250 words, which leaves little space to develop the arguments. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason and add a relevant example, then state a more precise opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. The signposts “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help readers identify the contrast. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the opening paragraph contains several ideas in one sentence, and the shift from cinemas’ cultural value to government income is abrupt. Some linking phrases, such as “Furthermore” and “Moreover,” are used without making the relationship between ideas fully clear. The conclusion is also too brief to bring the discussion together. Use one clear main idea per paragraph, connect each supporting sentence explicitly to it, and make the conclusion summarise your reasoning.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital media platforms,” “economically,” “culturally,” and “tradition.” This gives the response some useful topic coverage, but the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “cenima,” “oppertunaty,” and “virtuial.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “unwind public minds” and “refreasents for their busy routine” do not clearly convey the intended meaning. Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “relieve stress,” “support the local economy,” and “preserve cultural traditions” would help express your ideas clearly and appropriately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “While” and examples introduced by “For example.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles frequently make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “some individuals prefer theater and cenima are not longer essential” combines incompatible structures, while “it has provide crucial benefit” has an incorrect verb form and singular/plural pattern. “Theater and cinema are still carry their importance” also contains an unnecessary verb construction. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb forms. Once these are secure, use a wider range of complex structures without sacrificing clarity.
