Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's digital era, some individuals claim that cinemas and theatres are no longer important because all entertainment is online available, while other argue they are still important culturally and economically. Although streaming has some significant drawbacks, traditional cinemas reatin unique value.
On the one hand, due to digital transformation , many people prefer to watch content online. There was so much difficulties in the cinema and theatres. First a person will have need to book ticket and then wait for the particular movie, so its time wasting. Nowadays people can sit at their home easy and relax and can watch each and every movie they enjoyed. Due to more resources available online people can watch each and everything according to their preefernce which save their time, efforts and energy.
On the other hand, It is belived that that cinema and theatres has still their important both economically and culturally. Cinema provide particular jobs to the citizen and giving benefits in the form of tax, which then benefit te society. In cinema there is a tradition that family and friends gather together to watch a partciular movie. They waited for the particular movie and enjoy together so it also benefit culturally.
In my opinion, cinema and theatres have still their importance they gather with their families and enjoy together so the bond od family i made always however, internet sepeartes their family bonding every individuals watch the movie enrtirely sepeartely.
In coculsion, internet has made some realiablity and facilite each persons but it has aslo affect family, culture and their tradition. Cinema beneifit the culturally and economically. Internet has made things much easir but cinema and threatures are having still their importance the cinema envirnment and feeling cannot be gather at home or any particular place.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear personal opinion: online viewing is convenient, while cinemas and theatres retain cultural and economic value. Relevant points include saving time at home, providing jobs and tax revenue, and bringing families and friends together. This covers the main parts of the task. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the economic benefit is limited to jobs and taxes, and the cultural argument repeats the idea of gathering without showing why a shared venue matters beyond family bonding. Your claim that the internet separates families could also be qualified or supported with an example. Develop each main point with a specific explanation or illustration to make the response more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In my opinion” help readers follow the discussion. However, connections within paragraphs are sometimes mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “so” and “due to,” and some references are unclear, such as “they” in the sentence about cinemas providing jobs. The opinion paragraph also repeats the family-bonding point from the previous paragraph rather than extending the argument. Use clearer referencing and vary the links between cause, example, and result; ensure each paragraph advances the discussion rather than restating an earlier point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital era,” “streaming,” “digital transformation,” “tax,” and “culturally and economically.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the writing less natural. Examples include “all entertainment is online available,” “time wasting,” and “the bond od family i made.” There are also repeated general expressions such as “particular movie” and “each and everything,” which reduce precision. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for convenience, employment, and shared cultural experiences, and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary will help you express the same ideas with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening and a reason-result structure in “Due to more resources available online…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. For instance, “other argue” should use a plural verb, while “Cinema provide” and “cinema and theatres has” have agreement problems. The sentence beginning “First a person will have need to book ticket” also has faulty verb construction and article use. Some sentences run together or lack clear punctuation. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check subject–verb agreement and articles, while retaining the range of structures you are attempting.
