Student answer (Band 5.5)
The entertaiment is the key feature of good life because it gives necessary brake from daily boring life. One group of people believes that in today's time of digital medial all individuals watch movies and shows on internate so there is no value of theaters and cinemas, while other group argue that they are very important in both way financially and culturally. In my opinion, cinemas and theatres are still very important because they gives physical envioranment and employment to many people.
Among all reasons why people like online platform, the main one is that, it has a different varity of contant. In websites and apps of antertaiment media there are many options for movies and websiris such as action, comedy, emotional at one place, and people do notneed to go anywhere. Moreover, online platforms are flexible and affortable. The people can watch movie any time any where whenever they want, also it takes very less amount of monthly or yearly subscriptions. For example, the Netflix charges very minimum amount on monthly package and gives nearly all kind of movie.
In contrast, theatres and cinemas are also very pricious because with the help of theates number of artist can grow thair skils. the real audiance gives them high level of skils, also the people who like to watch thesetisfied their feelings. In addition, the film which comes on cinemas they earn lots of mony and fam, by that the cast can get employment. The theaters and cinemas run show they get money from people and can use in many good way.
In conclusion, both physical and online platform have thair own advantages, online gives varity of option and conviniancy, while cinemas give spacial feelin and earning to many people who engadge with it. I believe both are important.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives and state your view clearly: online services offer variety, flexibility and affordability, while cinemas and theatres provide a distinctive experience and employment. This addresses the main parts of the question. However, the economic and cultural importance of venues is only partly explained. For example, “the cast can get employment” is relevant, but the essay does not show in detail how venues support the wider economy; the cultural argument about artists developing their skills is also unclear and needs a specific explanation or example. Your conclusion says both platforms matter, but your opening opinion favours cinemas and theatres, so make that position consistent and explain why you ultimately consider them important despite online advantages.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph about online entertainment, a contrasting paragraph about venues, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “In contrast,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad progression. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear, and ideas within paragraphs do not always build logically. For instance, the sentence about artists developing skills is followed by “the real audience gives them high level of skills,” which repeats the point without clarifying the relationship. The final paragraph also presents both options as important without resolving the preference stated earlier. Group related points more carefully, use pronouns with clear references, and make each paragraph develop one central claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “digital media,” “online platforms,” “subscriptions,” “employment,” and “culturally,” so the reader can understand the main subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make parts difficult to interpret, such as “varity of contant,” “pricious,” and “thesetisfied.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “physical environment” where you mean the shared cinema experience, and “theaters run show.” Aim to learn accurate collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “audience experience,” “box-office revenue,” and “performing arts” would help express your ideas clearly without relying on repeated general words such as “people,” “good,” and “important.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and longer sentences, including a contrast structure with “while” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence construction sometimes make meaning harder to follow. For example, “other group argue” needs a singular verb, while “they gives” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. In “the Netflix charges,” the article is unnecessary, and “the film which comes on cinemas they earn” has a confusing structure and unclear subject. Some sentences also join several ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns first, then combine clauses using clear connectors; proofreading for articles and agreement will improve readability.
