In the contemporary era, digitalisation entered in each and every field. On that note, a few number of people believe that theatres and cinemas are no longer essential because of online entertainment sources, whereas others argue that they are still have importance in economy system as well as cultural system. This essay will discuss reasons behind this views.

There are several reasons why cinemas are overdated. The most prominent one is that, creation of digital tools of entertainment which are time convinient. To elaborate, nowadays, people can easily watch movies and cinemas at their own place so they don't have to go far away to watch them. Secondly, digital platforms are more cheaper and have lot of vareity of entertainment. For example, netflix, prime videos and HDhub are digital applications on which people can easily find movies, series and plays which they want to watch, these platforms are cheap also as their plans are cheaper than theatre tickets. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph explains the convenience and lower cost of online platforms, while the second discusses cultural preservation and economic benefits. However, the discussion is uneven and some points remain general. For instance, the claim that films released abroad create opportunities for governments to improve international relationships is not clearly explained, and the cultural example does not show specifically how theatres preserve traditions. Your own position is also not fully clear: the conclusion says theatres are becoming outdated, then contrasts this with their benefits, without stating which view you ultimately support. State your opinion directly and develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Sequencing within the paragraphs is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “On the other hand” help guide the reader. This organisation meets the lower-band expectations and shows some features of stronger progression. However, linking is occasionally mechanical, and some connections between claims are unclear—for example, the move from films being released internationally to governments improving relationships. The conclusion also repeats the contrast rather than resolving it with a clear final position. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each example and its main point explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital platforms,” “preserving our tradition and culture,” and “financially,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. There are also attempts to use more specific terms such as “musical events” and “cultural history.” However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “important,” “people,” and “platforms,” while noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the writing less natural: “overdated,” “convinient,” “vareity,” and “more cheaper.” Some combinations are also awkward, such as “economy system” and “best form to represents.” Build a more accurate range of topic vocabulary and check spelling, word forms, and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “so,” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. Examples include “they are still have importance,” “theatre are built,” and “movie which made in one country also released,” where the grammatical relationships are difficult to follow. The sentence beginning “For example, netflix…” also joins several ideas with commas, making it run on. Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns and complete clauses, and use full stops or conjunctions to separate ideas. More reliable control of these structures would make your arguments clearer.
