Student answer (Band 5.0)
According to my opinion, threatres and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch all the entertainment they want online.
In this digital age, people can get access of everything they like. People can watch anything online at their homes without going out or spending money on buying tickets of cinema and theatres. There are so many things to entertain yourself in this digital world like social media platforms like facebook and instagram. However, you can watch any movie or season online even the latest. People can go scroll through every kind of content they are more likely into without having to choose between only two movies they have thoussands of options online. With the help of digital world, it is so much easier to find and entertain you and your family at home.
The importance of threatres and cinemas are still likely favured by people who likes to go out. Friends and families who likes to hangout go out watch movies at cinemas and thretres. In this way, alot of people who likes to catch up with theur friends and belongings make movies plans and get togethar there. Cinemas and thretres are also liked by people becasue of their environment and facilities, as some people cannot watch or have fun theirselves at home so, they decide to go out tothretres and cinemas to get the whole vibe.
In conclusion, digital age has helped people being entertained at home rather than going out and spending to entertain theirselves. Although, it depeds upon the vibe and personaliy of people if they prefer watching anything they want want to online and going to cinemas and spending movie to watch a specific movie.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear preference for online entertainment in the opening and conclusion, and you mention reasons for both views, including convenience at home and the social atmosphere of cinemas. However, the task asks you to discuss the economic and cultural importance of theatres and cinemas, and these aspects are not really addressed. The second view is reduced mainly to meeting friends and enjoying the venue, while the online argument is developed through several similar points about choice and convenience. Your position also becomes less clear in the final sentence, which says preferences depend on personality. To strengthen the response, explain the opposing view more fully—for example, how venues support jobs and local businesses or provide shared cultural experiences—and make your own judgement consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure: an opening position, one paragraph about online entertainment, one about cinemas, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the two sides. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and several ideas repeat: the first body paragraph returns repeatedly to watching content at home and having many choices. Linking is also sometimes awkward or inaccurate, as in “However” before another supporting point and “Although” at the start of the final sentence. Some references are unclear, such as “there” and “theirselves.” Organise each body paragraph around a distinct main reason, then explain and illustrate it. Use linking expressions only when they show a genuine contrast or result, and make the conclusion clearly follow from the discussion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “digital age,” “social media platforms,” “tickets,” “environment,” and “facilities.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, such as “entertain yourself,” “go out,” and “the whole vibe.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “threatres,” “thousssands,” “favured,” and “becasue,” which reduce the accuracy and polish of the writing. Some word combinations are unnatural, for example “get access of everything” and “spending movie to watch.” Build a more precise vocabulary for the task, especially for economic and cultural arguments, and check spelling and collocations carefully during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited, and longer sentences often contain several grammatical problems. For example, “people who likes to go out” has subject–verb disagreement, while “people can get access of everything” uses an incorrect preposition pattern. The sentence beginning “Although, it depends…” is not correctly connected to the preceding idea, and “people can go scroll” is an awkward verb construction. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation in places. Practise building accurate complex sentences with clear clauses, and check agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries. Shorter, controlled sentences would help make your reasoning easier to follow.
