Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is an undeniable fact that ,in the digital era of advancement people interest has decline toward theaters and cinemnas havs become the matterof considerable debate. It is often argued by some people that it is no longer important that people can watch all the entertainment they want online.while other still clam that theatres and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally.I'll discuss it regarding both views ang give suitable opinion.

On the one hand, supporter of the fisrt idea believes that, in modren age people streaming intensively on social media. They spent most of thier time on screen.Although, they are very convinent and flexiable. For instance, if they want to watch a series there's a modernized projector they give a feel of cinema and one time investement, something urgent com up they simply pause it and continue whenever they want according to their ease. Thus, this prospective provides a convincing argument in the favour of this position.

On the other hand, advocates the opposing view maintain that cinemas and theathers are still worth visiting venues.the core reason behind this is, it is the part of are culture and most of our economy depend on it.Likewise, when familes or friends get-to-gather they usualy visit cimemas to lighten up their mood instantly .Consequently, this standpoint offers a different interpretations of the matter.

As far as my opinion is concerned, i belive that visit cinemas are good is break the hectic routine. at the same time it is costly that's why am in favour of first point.

To conclued, although people hold different opinions regarding above mentioned issues i favour first one it appear more convincing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the discussion and state a preference for online entertainment, while also acknowledging that cinemas can provide a break from routine. However, the position is not fully clear: you say cinema visits are good, then favour the first view because they are costly, without explaining how this weighs against their cultural and economic value. The supporting ideas are also limited. The projector example explains convenience, but the opposing paragraph mainly asserts that cinemas are part of culture and support the economy, without showing how or giving a relevant example. Develop each view with a specific reason or example, and make your own position consistent throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting opposing views, an opinion paragraph and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the intended direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several linking expressions feel mechanical or do not show the relationship between ideas accurately. For example, “Although, they are very convenient and flexible” is not connected smoothly to the preceding point, while “Consequently” introduces a claim that has not clearly followed from the previous sentence. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each example directly to the claim it supports; clearer referencing would also help the argument flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital era,” “streaming,” “economically and culturally,” and “hectic routine.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and frequent spelling, word-form and collocation errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow, as in “people interest has decline,” “one time investement,” and “different interpretations of the matter.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “people streaming intensively on social media” and “visit cinemas to lighten up their mood instantly.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and choosing natural combinations, for example, “people stream content online” and “cinemas provide a shared social experience.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example about pausing a film and a contrast between the two views. However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries can make the reader work to understand the point. Examples include “people interest has decline,” “they spent most of their time,” and “I believe that visit cinemas are good is break the hectic routine.” The opening also joins several clauses with unclear punctuation. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and tense. For instance, revise the opinion sentence to: “I believe that visiting cinemas is a good way to take a break from a hectic routine.”
