Student answer (Band 5.5)

In current world, theaters and cinemas industry are distroy due to the availability of social media and other entertainment resources. In this situation few people think that there are no need of pyhsical enjoyment like theatre dramas and movies in actuall cinemas while others persons believe they are important due to there traditional and financial support because these give help individual who depend on it.

Presently, internet make everything possible remotely without any outing. Different social media plateform are open source which hold all type of content that people want to view. Although, it have so many negative impacts on mental and phsical heath. For example, youtube, tiktok and instagram feed people with all required content like scrolling habit bulid also individual not need to put any effort to find enjoyment in the form of dramas, movies and news. I would argue that, parents need to bring their childrens outside of home for cultural activities take part in different concerts where they explore their tradition and make interact with other.

On other side, who think shift toward physical resources somehow they are correct because we need to preserve our old culture in the form of theatres and cinemas which already play major role in the building of our elderly family member characters. Moreover, they contribute significant part in country and families economy who attach with it such as when more people go over there then more money generate which automatically increase wealthiness among them. Also secure our tradition which transfer to our next generations.

In conclution, the widerange of publically available apps and websites make threatening impact on young population but this also necessory in present time whereas theatres and cinemas also important so we need to make balance between them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both perspectives: online entertainment is presented as convenient and widely available, while theatres and cinemas are linked to cultural preservation and economic benefits. Your final view—that society should balance the two—also gives the response a position. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The online paragraph focuses heavily on social media’s effects and parental responsibility, rather than explaining directly why online entertainment may make venues less important. The economic point that more visitors generate income is relevant but general, and the cultural argument would benefit from a specific example of what live venues preserve or provide. Develop each side with clearer reasoning and examples, and state your position more explicitly in the introduction.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph about online entertainment, a paragraph presenting the opposing view, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow. You also use signposts such as “Although,” “On other side,” and “In conclusion” to show relationships between ideas. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Although, it have so many negative impacts” does not clearly connect to the preceding point, and the shift from online platforms to parents taking children to concerts needs a more explicit link. Some references, such as “these” in the introduction, are also vague. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the claim it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cultural activities,” “preserve our old culture,” “financial support,” and “next generations.” These choices show an effort to discuss both social and economic effects. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “important,” “people,” and “content,” while several inaccurate word choices or spellings make meaning less clear: “distroy,” “plateform,” “wealthiness,” and “publically.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “physical enjoyment” and “feed people with all required content.” Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check collocations and spelling. For instance, describe venues as “cultural institutions” and explain that they “generate income” or “support local employment.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession with “Although” and a relative clause in “individual who depend on it.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, and sentence structure sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. Examples include “internet make everything possible,” “it have so many negative impacts,” and “there are no need.” The sentence beginning “For example” also runs several ideas together without clear grammatical boundaries. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular–plural agreement and article use. Breaking long sentences into shorter units will help you express your ideas more accurately.
