Student answer (Band 5.0)

Bothe arguments is correct on own like some people argu this digital life theathers and cinemas are no longer is importent people can watch because all the entertainment now watch on the mobile online and the second group say that cinemas are still important in both condition like economically and culturally.

The first group arugment is correct becase if people move to the theaters and cinemas then wasting a time which is very importent thing nowadays in this digital life. Mostly people not have a lot of time when go to theatres and cinemas watch the film are dreama. For example i'm product designer my working hours is 9 to 10 in the company after that i working on my personla project and some freelancing work so when i have free time then open the mobile phone watch moves, dreamy and funney for entertainment which can't disturbe my routine and also enjoye my free time .

The second group argu is correct becasue for both economically culturally play very importent role in every country theatres and cinemas. If people can't watch move or dreay in threatres and cinemas so the film producre can't earn money and same like the culture is demage. For example the in previous days one indan film realsed in start there is no earning because the can't go to watch film in threatres and cinemas the film producer in start very upset and then share into onlie plateform like youtube and instagram and so more in one days earn the film investment .

In my opinion the both argu is correct for both reason which is both effects are have

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question and give a personal example to explain why online viewing suits your busy routine. You also attempt to discuss the economic and cultural value of cinemas, so the response is relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the cultural point is asserted rather than explained, and the example about a film earning money after being shared online is difficult to follow and does not clearly show why cinemas remain important. Your opinion appears in the opening and conclusion, but “both arguments are correct” does not establish which view you ultimately support or how you weigh them. Explain each side more fully and state a clear, consistent position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. The phrases “The first group” and “The second group” help signal the change in viewpoint, and the personal example gives the first body paragraph a recognisable focus. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are joined in long, unclear sentences. The film example in the second body paragraph moves from cinema attendance to online platforms without clearly explaining the connection. The conclusion is also incomplete, ending with “both effects are have.” Use clearer topic sentences, separate supporting points, and connect examples explicitly to the argument they illustrate.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient to identify the main topic and communicate basic ideas, with relevant terms such as “digital life,” “entertainment,” “economically,” and “culturally.” However, the range is limited and many words are repeated, particularly “important,” “people,” and “theatres and cinemas.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms—such as “importent,” “arugment,” “producre,” and “demage”—make the writing harder to read and sometimes obscure meaning. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “wasting a time” and “share into online platform.” Build a more accurate set of topic-specific phrases and check spelling and collocation; this would make your meaning clearer and more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express reasons and examples, including a conditional structure beginning “if people move to the theaters and cinemas,” but sentence forms are mostly basic and many are incomplete or inaccurately constructed. For example, “Mostly people not have a lot of time” lacks an auxiliary, while “when go to theatres and cinemas watch the film” has no clear subject and verb structure. Agreement and verb forms are also unreliable, as in “both effects are have,” and punctuation does not consistently separate ideas. These errors frequently make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise building complete subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with accurate tense and punctuation.
