Student answer (Band 5.5)

Many of individuals believe that, the theatres and cinemas are no more essential as public can watch all the entertainment dramas they desires online internet, in digital age. while other people go for theatres and cinemas are still crucial part of both environmentally and traditionally.

There are several people believe that the theatres and cinemas are no more crucial role as they can watch all those entertainment shows which they can watch on internet or online, in current era. some of individuals prefer online or internet dramas which all they can watch at home without go any public areas or outside. for instance, number of people argue that if they watch all entertainment shows on online they can save money, and some people not prefer to go to outside from home, however they would argue that some of shows are not watchable for youngers and teenagers due to their young age. although, as a result many amount of public not believe that cinemas and theatres are essential part in digital age.

However, other side of individuals go for theatres and cinemas. they believe that watch entertainment shows in theatres are another level of happiness with cinematic environment. moreover, watch dramas on big screen, feel that energy with memorable moments. for example, numerous people desire to watch movies in theatres and cinemas with whole family and feel that energetic vibe of that movie. furthermore, they would argue that good shows and dramas are beneficial for environmentally and traditionally. some dramas has good impactful over economically. as a consequence, other people prefer cinemas and theatres.

According to my perspective, both ways are equally beneficial for various individuals. all situations are depends on people's preference. while, in digital age numerous public prefer online shows to watch.

In conclusion, both preferences are equal as its are. theatres and cinemas are important part of both areas - economically and culturally. therefore, online watching dramas same as significant part for other believers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the discussion and give a personal view, so the response is relevant to the task. The first body paragraph mentions convenience and saving money when watching online, while the next describes the enjoyment of a cinema’s large screen and shared family experience. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained, and the economic and cultural importance named in the prompt is not clearly developed. The claim that theatres are beneficial “for environmentally and traditionally” is unclear, and your conclusion says the options are equal without explaining how this position follows from the discussion. Develop each side with a specific reason or example, and state your view more consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow. You also use linking expressions such as “However,” “for instance,” and “In conclusion.” At times, though, connections feel mechanical or do not show a clear relationship: “although, as a result” is awkward, and “According to my perspective” introduces a view that is not fully reconciled with the final paragraph. Some ideas are repeated, particularly that people prefer online viewing or cinemas. Use clearer topic sentences, avoid repeating the same preference, and connect examples directly to the point they support.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital age,” “cinematic environment,” “memorable moments,” and “economically and culturally.” These choices show an effort to discuss more than basic preferences. However, the range is limited by repeated use of “individuals,” “people,” “shows,” and “dramas,” and several word combinations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “go for theatres,” “energetic vibe,” and “beneficial for environmentally and traditionally.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to identify. Choose precise terms for the economic and cultural arguments, and learn common collocations such as “attend a cinema” and “cultural significance.” Vary repeated nouns with accurate alternatives rather than using unusual phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “if,” and “although.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, many sentences contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries, which can make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “the entertainment dramas they desires” has incorrect agreement, and “some dramas has” uses the wrong verb form. Several sentences begin with lowercase letters after full stops, and some clauses are joined in ways that obscure their relationship. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a complete main clause before adding more complex structures.
