Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some people believes that moderen generation's people prefer to watching movies on an online platform. They think that it is not nesseccary to watch entertainment at theatres and cinemas. While, other people think that entertainment building such as theatres and cinemas plays a pivotal role in economy and cultral. From my perspective, Watching movies on online is more convenient and flexible than physically because teenagers have busy schedule.Additonally, online platforms are budget friendly.

There are several numbers of reasons for transforming prioties to theatres to online platforms. One of the major reason is that, people of digital age are more enaged with their own works. Therefore, having a much free time is just like once in blue moon for them. Second main reason is that, It is very cheaper than cinemas. Also cinemas has limit of movies at certain time. On the other hand, in ott platform there are large number of movies or series. For example, Nowadays, many people use transport for their work so during that time they can watch entertainment show. this can be helpful for them to spent their journay easily.

On the other hand, There are some drawbacks of it. Sometimes it contributes the ecomony of countries. As many tourist love to spent their time in watching movie in certain famous cinemas. Moreover, it leads to the employeements.for instance, some areas, people are not more educated so it would be helpful for them to do some work at cinemas or theatres. Although cinemas and theatres gives more efficient expereince, it has certain limits in terms of time.

In conclusion, Adults become more relevent with the ott platform as their hactic time mangement. While, this buildings helps coutry growth. In my opinion, Watching online is more flexible and convenient for people. And also fits in low-income.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the discussion and state a preference for online viewing, supported by convenience, busy schedules and lower cost. You also mention cinemas’ contribution to tourism and employment, so the response is relevant to the task. However, the position is not fully consistent: the opening says online viewing is preferable, while the conclusion introduces the economic value of venues without clearly weighing it against your preference. Several points remain general or unclear, such as “it contributes the economy” and the claim about less-educated people finding work. Develop each view with a clearer explanation or a specific example, and make your opinion explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on online platforms, a paragraph on theatres and cinemas, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are mechanical or confusing. For example, “There are several numbers of reasons for transforming priorities” does not clearly introduce the points that follow, while “On the other hand” signals contrast but the paragraph’s relationship to the previous one is not always developed. The conclusion also combines ideas abruptly. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, connect examples directly to claims, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “pivotal role,” “digital age,” “budget friendly” and “employment.” This shows some effort to use language beyond basic everyday terms. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow: “moderen,” “cultral,” “enaged,” “hactic” and “relevent” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “entertainment building,” “transforming priorities to theatres” and “contributes the economy.” Build accuracy by learning common topic collocations and checking spelling, word forms and whether a phrase expresses the intended meaning. Prefer clear, natural wording over ambitious expressions that are not yet controlled.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” However, errors occur frequently and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “Some people believes,” “cinemas has,” and “theatres and cinemas plays,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. There are also problems with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, as in “a much free time” and “this can be helpful for them to spent.” Capitalisation after full stops is inconsistent, and some fragments or punctuation choices interrupt the flow. Practise checking agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries, then edit each sentence for one clear main clause.
