Student answer (Band 5.5)

Two statements were held that in digital age, theaters and cinemas are no longer important as people can watching all the things in online, along with that, others aruge that the theatres and cinemas are still important for both econoically and culturally. I agrred with both of the statements.

As, living in the modenr age of science everything is getting much easier for us. People used to watch movies in theatres like cinepex, sony with their friends and familys. Due to the blessing of modern science many online movies sites were invented. Furthermore, people are watching movies at home because they don't have to travel a long way to watch that particular movies, that can be seen at home with friends and family. The advantages are huge like, it saves our valuable time along with free of cost of transportation and in theatres movies required particular fees to watch. Moreover, the advantges outweights the disadvantages.

On the other hand, Cinemas and theatres are still very important for both economically and culturally. To begin with, many people working on the particular cinema earn their livelihood by working their. So, basically it opens a scope of work of individuals, along with that, going to see movies with friends and family increases the relationship bond with them. People can spemd time with their family and friends as they go out for movies also it's ritual of watching cinemas.

I agreed with both of the statement that due to digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch it from their home along with that it has some econnomical and cultural important too.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a position, but “I agreed with both” does not clearly explain how you weigh them or resolve the apparent contrast. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons for online viewing—convenience, saved travel time and transport costs—while the second mentions cinema employment and family relationships. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than developed with specific explanation or examples, and the economic and cultural importance of theatres is not explored in much detail. The conclusion repeats the two sides instead of clarifying your own judgement. To strengthen the response, explain whether online entertainment replaces some functions but not others, and support each main point with a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in perspective, and the reader can generally follow the main ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several points are joined mechanically with “along with that” and “Moreover.” The opening sentence is difficult to follow because it combines both positions in one long, awkward construction. Some references are also unclear, such as “that particular movies” and “working their.” Use clearer topic sentences, organise each paragraph around one central claim, and connect supporting explanations directly to that claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “digital age,” “transportation,” “livelihood,” and “culturally,” so the main subject is clear. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “important,” “movies,” and “friends and family.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “aruge,” “econoically,” “advantges,” and “econnomical,” as well as inaccurate or unnatural combinations such as “free of cost of transportation” and “increases the relationship bond.” These choices sometimes make the meaning less clear. Build a more precise range for discussing access, employment and cultural value, and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and some basic clauses communicate your ideas. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, which can make the reader pause. For example, “people can watching” uses an incorrect verb form, while “everything is getting much easier for us” does not fit smoothly with the sentence opening “As.” There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals and agreement, as in “in digital age,” “their family,” and “theatres movies required particular fees.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly in the long opening sentence. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause.
