Student answer (Band 4.5)

Many kinds of the persons think that in the digital age theatres and cinemas are no longer significant as people can watch all the enjoy they want online. Others argue that theatres and cinemas are still important both economically and traditional.

In my opinion firstly if i discuss about online watch entertainment. For example because most of the peoples busy in their daily routens if they ha some free time they prefer to watch shorts, films, reels on the mobile phone and laptops.AS a result they can save time or money and enjoy to see all the entertainment online

According to my prospact if we discussing the other side of the peoples preferances they want to go theatres and cinemas acually most of the time mostly peoples busy in their jobs and they have no time for his familay in this case they make planes for outing and watch all the entertainment in theatres and cinemas are very presious for any country economy and culturally.

in conclusion, Some people say that in the digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer essential as people can see all the movies, films, reels they want online becuase its budget frindly and easy for everyone they can not afford go for the theatres and cinemas but in this case our economy face downfall

thats the reason theatres and cinemas are still valuable both economically and culturally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify both perspectives and give a position: online viewing is convenient and affordable, while cinemas remain valuable to the economy and culture. However, the discussion is brief and only minimally developed. The online-viewing point is supported by the idea that busy people can watch on phones or laptops, but the other view is less clearly explained; the reference to family outings does not show specifically how cinemas contribute culturally or economically. Your conclusion mentions possible economic decline, but this consequence is not explained. The response contains 192 words, below the required 250, which limits how fully you can address and support both sides. Develop each view with a clear reason and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each perspective, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main topic and your general position. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow, particularly in the second body paragraph, where the ideas about busy workers, family time, outings, and national value run together. Linking phrases such as “As a result” and “In conclusion” are present, but some connections are unclear or mechanical, and the conclusion largely repeats the introduction rather than bringing the discussion together. Use one main idea per paragraph, separate supporting explanations into clear sentences, and make the relationship between each reason and its example explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “digital age,” “entertainment,” “online,” “economy,” and “culturally,” so the reader can recognise the subject. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts of the message harder to understand. For example, “all the enjoy” does not express “all the entertainment,” while “traditional” is not an accurate substitute for “culturally” in the introduction. “Presious” and “prospact” also obscure the intended meaning. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling; more precise phrases such as “convenient and affordable” or “support local employment” would help explain your points rather than simply repeat general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can usually identify your main ideas. However, grammatical control is limited, with frequent errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “Many kinds of the persons think” has an inaccurate noun phrase, and “most of the peoples busy” is missing a verb and uses an incorrect plural form. The sentence beginning “In my opinion firstly if i discuss” is a fragment, while the long sentence about people’s jobs and family time contains several ideas without clear grammatical boundaries. Practise building complete sentences with a subject and verb, then use full stops to separate ideas. Check capitalisation and punctuation as part of proofreading.
