Therefore, some group of people say that theatres and cinemas are outdated when they can easily browse on internet for entertainment, while others object that financially and culturally these are still valuable. This essay will conduct both of views along with my personal perspectives.
To begin with, for the generation of ninety's; theatres and cinemas are nostalgic place for them. The retro vibes and original creation of entertainment took place there, it will be unfair to vanish it. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides by contrasting online convenience with the cultural, social and economic value of cinemas, and you state a preference for keeping them. The examples of 3D and 4DX experiences and employment are relevant. However, the discussion is only partial: the case for online entertainment is mostly reduced to convenience, while the cultural and economic claims about cinemas are asserted rather than explained. Your position also becomes difficult to follow when you say cinemas are important but then emphasise that going to them is uncomfortable. The paragraph about nostalgia and national culture ends unfinished, leaving an important idea undeveloped. Explain each side with clearer reasons and examples, and make your own view consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the opening introduces the debate, the body paragraphs discuss cinema experiences and online access, and a conclusion gives a recommendation. However, progression is not clear throughout. The first body paragraph shifts from nostalgia to technology and culture, then ends mid-sentence; the next combines social benefits, employment, convenience and your opinion. Connectives such as “Besides,” “However,” and “Although” are frequent, and some do not show the relationship between ideas accurately. For example, “Although” introduces a statement that does not clearly contrast with the preceding point. Use one main focus per paragraph, complete each idea, and use fewer, more precise transitions and references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “nostalgic,” “cinematic,” “cultural aspects,” “employment ratio,” and “convenient,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. There is some variety, but control is uneven: several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, such as “original creation of entertainment,” “peculiar sound effects,” and “widening outgoing nature.” Spelling errors, including “innnovation,” “palayed,” “amentites,” and “convienient,” also make the writing less clear and polished. Choose familiar, accurate collocations rather than reaching for unusual wording; for instance, describe cinemas as offering an “immersive viewing experience” and say they “create local jobs.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “which,” and “although.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. Examples include “new innnovation take place,” “theatres presents,” and “government should provides.” The sentence beginning “Although, theatres presents…” is also incomplete in its construction, while the first body paragraph ends with “and,” leaving the thought unfinished. Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, then check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
