Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people believe that in the digital world, theatres and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch all the shows online through phones or laptops. While other believe for that for economical and cultural development these two bodies are important. In my opinion, these bodies should not be demolised or closed because it also important for the people life to spend time with there loved onces.
On the one hand, Many people believe as the world is changing into digital, theatres and picture whole lossing its importance in real world, beacuse the person can watch any show anytime, anywhere on the phones or laptops by the use of internet. There are many app also introduce to the phones like Netflix, jiohotstar, short darams any many more through with with spending little money on subscribing these platform person watch any show any time. Some platform are also free like youtube, people active her more often.
On the other hand, many people believe these bodies should not be demolised or closed, because it is one of the source for economic growth and cultural value. As the picture whole when new picture is introduce the profit from that some is given to the goverment. For example, like any new movies comes to theatres and cinemas it is having buget. If that particular movie make profit like 500 crore or 100 croes 1/3 of that money is transfer to the goverment, so that in future that money use for country development or for any other things benifets for nation. Secondly, its also important for the person who is always busy in work, so they can plain movie on weekend and also enjoy family time.
In conculsin, these building or bodies should not be closed, as it can also used for students like the some type of historical movies introduced so they can learn about there culture and wars happened, improtance of unity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear opinion that theatres and cinemas should remain open. The discussion of online entertainment is relevant, with examples such as Netflix and YouTube, while the second view is supported by economic and social points. However, some ideas are less fully explained: the claim that a portion of film profits goes to government is presented as a general fact without support, and the family-time point could be linked more clearly to the cultural importance of shared viewing. The conclusion introduces historical films and learning about culture, but this idea is not developed in the body. To strengthen the response, explain and support each main reason more consistently, and make the conclusion reflect the arguments already discussed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “these bodies” is used repeatedly without naming theatres and cinemas, while “the picture whole” makes the subject difficult to identify. The economic example also moves from film budgets to government revenue and national development without clearly explaining the links. Use more precise references and connect each example to the paragraph’s main point. A clearer progression within paragraphs would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital,” “economic growth,” “cultural value,” “subscribing,” and “country development.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “picture whole” for cinema, “bodies” for venues, “demolised,” and “plain movie” for planning a movie outing. Repetition of “important,” “people,” and “money” also limits precision. Build a more varied set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and natural word combinations. More accurate choices would help you express the economic and cultural arguments clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “While” and explanations introduced by “because” and “so.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “While other believe for that” is not a complete, well-formed contrast, and “it also important” is missing a verb. In “Some platform are also free,” the subject and verb do not agree. Several long sentences, particularly the example about film profits, would be clearer if divided into shorter units. Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms before adding more complex structures.
