Student answer (Band 6.0)
Although some people argue that the importance of theatres and cinemas has declined as people can enjoy everything online. But many argue that the economic and cultural value of theatres and cinemas are still crucial. It seems to me that in digital age we can not deny the influence of online entertainment sources on mass people, yet threatres and cinemas are also important in many ways.
On the one hand, in the digital age we are engrossed a lot more into online based entermainments and it has many reasons. Firstly, in corporate world we have shortage of time to wait for entertainments. As a result of the availability of online media, we do not have to wait for the exact and date to watch movies or plays or other forms of entertainments. People can watch enything whenever you want. Secondly, theatres and cimenas require money to watch recreational shows every time. Consequently, people find it easier to enjoy everything online with a monthly subcriptions and charges.
On the other hand, theatres and cinemas are also sgnificant for many reasons in the age of online entertainment sources. First of all, nowadays people tend to practice individualism which is primarily responsible for breaking family bondings. As a result, people are suffering from numerous mental health crises. For recovering from this situation, people should visit physically in these places for their own mental peace. In addition, threatres and cinemas shows our roots through it's structure and programs which are crucial to uphold our cultural heritage. Moreover, these sectors are also important for a country's economic growth. Because entertainment industry is also have great influnce to a nations financial growth.
In conclusion, although people can not get rid of online entertainment, I believe that to preserve our cultural aspects and for ensuring our economic growth, theatres and cinemas are important.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state your position: online entertainment is convenient and comparatively affordable, while cinemas and theatres retain cultural and economic value. This covers the task, but the two sides are not developed equally. The points about flexible viewing and subscriptions are understandable, whereas the claim that visiting venues can ease mental-health problems needs explanation or a relevant example. Likewise, the economic point—that the entertainment industry contributes to national growth—is asserted rather than supported with a specific mechanism or example. Your conclusion restates your view, but could more clearly weigh the benefits of online access against the continuing role of physical venues. Develop each main claim with a reason and an example to make the response more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The contrast between the paragraphs is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in linking ideas. However, several transitions feel mechanical because points are repeatedly introduced with “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In addition.” The sentence beginning “Because entertainment industry…” is also detached from the preceding point, making the economic argument feel abrupt. Use a wider range of links and connect each explanation directly to the claim it supports; clearer referencing would also help the paragraph flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “online media,” “monthly subscriptions,” “cultural heritage,” and “economic growth,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “individualism” and “mental health crises.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, including “entermainments,” “cimenas,” “sgnificant,” and “great influnce.” Some phrases, such as “corporate world” and “exact and date,” do not express the intended idea clearly. This limits precision and can make the reader pause. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations—for example, how to describe busy schedules, ticket costs, and a venue’s contribution to the economy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, using clauses of reason and result, as in “As a result of the availability of online media…” and “although people cannot get rid of online entertainment…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors remain. The opening uses both “Although” and “But” to introduce the same contrast, and “the economic and cultural value … are” has a subject–verb agreement problem. Other examples include “people should visit physically in these places” and “entertainment industry is also have,” where sentence patterns and verb forms are not controlled. Review agreement, articles, and verb constructions, then proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly formed clause. More accurate complex sentences would strengthen the range you are already attempting.
