Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few people claim that in the present day age groups not prefer theatres and cinemas compare to online entertainment. They can enjot to watch movies on online platform at home. While theaters and cinemas are as important as they are in the past. They also preserve cultural and growth economy. In my suggestion, watch movies in online that was comfortable and affordable for every one so in below both information shows about this opinion.
One major benefit for online amusement that it was prefer wide range of entertainment so we can watch any kind of movies and shows which we are like and prefer any time. They are also save money for other expand and save time for travelling; in addition, we might watch at one's convenience place and comfortable time. For example, some new generation want to watch movies on their free time so online web-sides prefer this kind of services and also get option for movies to choose which people like to watch.
On the other hand, theaters and cinemas are as major roll as online platform do. although , many people prefer online entertainment for watch movies ,They are still significant impact on society. In economical way there are creat job opportunities and support local business so that they help to boost the local economy. While they contribute their finical expand and growth. On cultural view there are preserve traditions and their awarness. They are also bring people together so that people share their ideas and exprience.
In conclusion, online entertainment and theaters and cinemas both are equally necessary for people because people choos according them. Form my perspective, online entertainment is reasonable and also budget friendly. In present days people like to watch movie alone rather than prefer go to crowded place. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question: the online-entertainment paragraph gives reasons such as convenience, choice and lower cost, while the next paragraph explains cinemas’ economic and cultural roles. Your view is present, especially in the conclusion, where you favour online viewing as more affordable and comfortable. However, the position is not consistently clear: the introduction says both forms are important, then the conclusion calls them equally necessary while also favouring online entertainment. Several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, how cinemas preserve traditions or support local businesses. Develop these ideas with a specific example and make your own position consistent from introduction to conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking expressions are either awkward or do not show the intended relationship. For instance, “While theaters and cinemas are as important as they are in the past” is a fragment, and “While they contribute their finical expand and growth” does not connect clearly to the preceding point. The conclusion also repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each supporting detail explicitly to its main idea, and check that reference words such as “they” have an unmistakable meaning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “online entertainment,” “job opportunities,” “local economy,” and “cultural.” These choices show that you can discuss both economic and social aspects. However, the range is limited and many inaccurate word choices or spellings make the meaning difficult to follow, such as “finical expand,” “awarness,” “exprience,” and “web-sides.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “in the present day age groups” and “in economical way.” Aim to learn common collocations as complete phrases, such as “create job opportunities,” “preserve cultural traditions,” and “watch films on streaming platforms.” Proofread spelling and word forms, and choose precise vocabulary rather than repeating “prefer” and “people” frequently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “While” and “so that.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation sometimes make the message hard to understand. For example, “Few people claim that … not prefer” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “They are also save money” combines an auxiliary with the wrong verb form. “Although, many people …, They are still significant impact” has faulty punctuation and an incomplete construction. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check each sentence for a complete main clause, consistent verb forms, and correct capitalisation after commas.
