Student answer (Band 5.5)

Aethesic subjects such as movies provide people relief from their monotorius life style.

Some people say that in the modern digital world, these theatres and cinemas are no longer important because people can watch all the entertainment they need online, while others argue that these theaters and cinemas are still important economically and culturally.Although digital world has changed eveything more convinient,In this scenario, I believe cinemas and theraters are still important.

One of the main reason that I choose that is the sense of feeling. In the past, when any film released, people used to watch in the theatres. It allows individuals to escape from their daily routines. In the cinemas ,with the background sounds and dark environment it gives better experience rather than watching movies in computer or television. In addition, these theatre time provides them to spend time with their friend. For example, these days people reserved some time for their entertainment, hug up with friend and watch movies. As a result, it builds up indiviuals happiness and forgot about their problems for while.

Economically it provides profit for peoples who stand behind the screen such as directors, actors, producers and all other staff. It directly imapct of the success of cinema indrustry and provides secure with workers jobs.

With the digital advancement, most people change their habbit to watch movies from their laptop or televison without travel to cinema. Eventhrough, it is more convinient, it is not allow to experience same environment as cinemas. Especially 3D and 4D movies provide spectucular view of screen look like live in the theatres.

In conclusion, eventhough digital age provides convinient methods with wathching movies, cinemas and theatres are still important because it providse greates experience for individuals and helps for cinema industry.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you believe cinemas and theatres remain important, and you give relevant reasons, including the immersive atmosphere, social time with friends, and employment in the film industry. However, the discussion is uneven. The case for online entertainment is only briefly acknowledged through convenience and avoiding travel, without explaining why this may make venues less important for some people. The economic point is also asserted rather than supported: you mention jobs and profits but do not explain the wider economic contribution or give a concrete example. Develop both sides more fully and connect each reason to the question of cultural and economic importance.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can generally follow your main position. Ideas about the cinema experience and socialising are grouped together, while the final paragraph returns to your opinion. However, progression is sometimes unclear: the paragraph beginning “Economically” is very short and feels detached from the discussion around it. Linking phrases such as “In addition,” “As a result” and “In conclusion” help, but some connections are mechanical or do not clearly express the relationship between ideas. Improve paragraph development by grouping the economic and cultural arguments logically, and use clearer transitions to show how each point supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital advancement,” “background sounds,” “dark environment” and “cinema industry.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, but the range is limited and several spelling, word-form and collocation errors make the writing less natural. Examples include “monotorius life style,” “more convinient,” “spectucular view” and “providse greates experience.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “secure with workers jobs” and “hug up with friend,” which may make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common combinations such as “provide job security” and “spend time with friends,” rather than relying on approximate phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and attempts at longer structures, including the contrast introduced by “Although” and the sentence beginning “With the digital advancement.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur frequently. For example, “One of the main reason that I choose that is the sense of feeling” has problems with plural agreement and clause structure; “it is not allow to experience” uses an incorrect verb form; and “it builds up indiviuals happiness and forgot” shifts verb form within the sentence. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar.
