Student answer (Band 5.0)
People argues that digital age are useful than theaters and cinemas. While others, preffered the theaters and cinema because it is more economically.
The entertainment cinema and theaters are widely famous in the older population. Most of the age people preffered to watch in the bigger screen and enjoyed with their family or friends. They were lining up in the movie theater just to watch the most awaiting show. However, the new generation are likely want to binge watch their favorite shows in the phone or home televesion together with family.
In my perspective, the ideal and efficient way to view the movie is the digital than cinema and theater. It is less hassle because you do not need to line up in the cinema. The expenses is less because you do not pay for the transportation. Also, it has less unneccessary expenditures because most of the cinema are inside the malls which some people are attracted to do the window shopping after watching a movie. Moreover, the pop corn and soda in the theaters are much expensive. In the other hand, the digital age has advantage because the family or friends can watch a movie together without spending much. The subcription are only once a month payment, and families can enjoy unlimited shows and movie. Whereas, the cinema that has a one movie, one payment policy. It has accessible different movie category.
Therefore, the cinema and theaters are slowly fading their importance to the people. Thru, improvements of digital age it will be vanished and replaced by the gadgets. Due to the increasing problems of traffic, humans want to stay at home and prepare the televasion to enjoy with their families.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for digital viewing in “the ideal and efficient way to view the movie is the digital,” and you offer relevant reasons, including convenience, transport costs and subscription access. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the case for theatres’ continuing economic and cultural importance is not really developed. The opening mentions that some people prefer cinemas “because it is more economically,” but this point is unclear and is not supported with examples. The discussion mainly explains why home viewing is preferable, while the conclusion predicts cinemas will disappear. To strengthen the response, explain the opposing view directly—for example, how cinemas support jobs and local businesses, or provide a shared cultural experience—and then make your comparison and opinion clear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, discussion of viewing habits, reasons for your preference, and a conclusion. Ideas such as avoiding queues and extra costs are grouped together, so the reader can follow the main line of thought. However, progression is uneven: the second paragraph contrasts older and younger viewers, but does not clearly connect this contrast to the task’s economic and cultural arguments. Linking phrases such as “However,” “Moreover,” and “Therefore” are used, but some connections are awkward or unclear; “In the other hand” does not accurately signal the relationship, and “Thru, improvements…” makes the conclusion difficult to follow. Use topic sentences that identify each side of the debate, and make references between sentences more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “binge watch,” “subscription,” “transportation,” and “window shopping,” which helps communicate your reasons for preferring digital entertainment. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “more economically,” “most awaiting show,” and “the digital.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Spelling errors, including “preffered,” “televesion,” “unneccessary,” and “subcription,” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of expressions for discussing both sides, such as cinema’s “economic contribution,” “shared viewing experience,” and “on-demand streaming,” and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a contrast introduced by “While others” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentence structures are incomplete or difficult to follow. For example, “People argues that digital age are useful” has problems with subject–verb agreement and articles, while “While others, preffered…” is not a complete sentence. Agreement and verb forms also cause problems in “the new generation are likely want” and “The expenses is less.” There are attempts to connect ideas, but complex structures are often not controlled accurately. Practise complete sentence patterns, checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and main verb.
