Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadys during this modern era people have diffrent views related to theatres and cinemas Some people think that cinemas and theatres doesnot meant to theem beacause they can enjoy these facilities by accessing the internet at home while some people still believe that cinemas and theatres means to them because they connected due to their prefrences but in my opnion i also think that they are not meant enough nowadays due to advance technology and digitilization.
In first opinion these are not much important because nowadays people usually have facilties of mobiles LED's and projector so they can easily enjoy their desired movies and program at their homes and where ever they want woth the help of internet it saves their time and and it also maintains their privacy because internet have made things very easy for users they can get every program on internet.
While on the other hand some people still support and love cinemas and theatres because they ate connected to it emotionaly and culturely because they wanted to experience the feeling of movie in cinemas because the atmosphere of cinemas gives us the feel of incidents happning in movies so people love to enjoy those momemnts and they also follow the previously follwed practices in which people use to go yo cinemas with their loved ones and to enjoy the time together at the cinemas because it was kind of a culture in past times.
These are the opinion which vary from person to person but i will go woth the first one because we have to go with the flow because in the changing world we should follow the modern era practices it will also helps us to save time and maintain our privacy by enjoying cinemas and theatre facilities at home

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a clear preference for online entertainment, especially in the introduction and conclusion, and you discuss both the convenience of home viewing and the emotional and cultural appeal of cinemas. However, the task is only partly addressed: the economic importance of theatres and cinemas is not discussed, despite being explicitly raised in the prompt. The supporting points are also limited and mostly general. For example, you say online viewing saves time and protects privacy, but do not illustrate these claims; the cultural argument about shared experiences is more relevant but remains briefly explained. To strengthen the response, cover the economic view directly and develop each main point with a specific example or explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of your discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking is repetitive or awkward. Phrases such as “In first opinion” and “While on the other hand” do not clearly signal the relationship between ideas, while the long second-view paragraph combines several points without clear separation. The conclusion repeats the preference for online viewing rather than drawing the discussion together. Use more precise transitions, organise each paragraph around one central claim, and make references such as “these” or “it” clearly point to a specific idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “digitalization,” “privacy,” “atmosphere,” and “culture,” and you attempt to express ideas about convenience and shared experiences. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning less clear, such as “cinemas and theatres means to them,” “follow the flow,” and “the feel of incidents happening in movies.” Spelling errors are also frequent, including “Nowadys,” “diffrent,” and “emotionaly,” which reduce the accuracy of the writing. Build a more precise set of topic-related expressions and check spelling carefully. Aim to use natural combinations such as “provide a shared viewing experience” and “contribute to the local economy.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “while,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in examples such as “cinemas and theatres doesnot” and “it will also helps.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable: the opening sentence runs several ideas together, and the final paragraph contains a long sentence joined without clear punctuation. Articles and prepositions are sometimes missing or awkward, as in “at their homes” and “connected to it.” These errors can make the reader work to follow your meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build longer sentences from shorter, correctly punctuated clauses.
